AFC Women’s Club Championship 2023 – Invitational Tournament(AWCC)へ臨む三菱重工浦和レッズレディースへ注目が集まっている。来季以降に予定されているAFC女子チャンピオンズリーグ(女子ACL)のプレ大会と位置付けられている今大会。浦和は昨季のWEリーグチャンピオンとして、AWCCに臨む。

浦和の属するグループAはタイでの集中開催で行われ、選手らは1日に現地入り。なでしこジャパンとしてパリ・オリンピックアジア2次予選を戦った高橋はな、石川璃音、猶本光、清家貴子もウズベキスタンからすでに合流した。
クラブの公式Xでは特有のスコールに見舞われるなどしたトレーニング前後の様子も公開。移動のバスから降りた際には向けられたカメラに各選手が様々な表情を振りまいており、ファンからは「やっぱりみんな仲良し」、「頑張ってください!」、「練習着かっこいい」、「ずっこけないで笑」、「おいキャプテンが1番デカい荷物持ってんじゃねーか」などの声やエールが寄せられた。

日本を代表して臨む浦和は6日にスリー・ゴクラム・ケララ FC(インド)、同9日にバンコクFC(タイ)、同12日に花蓮女子FC(チャイニーズ・タイペイ)とそれぞれ対戦。グループA、Bの1位による決勝は2024年に行われる。

日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザが4年目で悲願の初優勝! 三つ巴の最終節でも勝利し自力で決める【SOMPO WEリーグ】

「ついにこの瞬間がやって来ました」WE優勝の浦和L栗島朱里が歓喜!あの"伝統芸"がレディースでついに完成か「こだわり抜いたこの真顔」

「美女美女美女」「全員可愛いすぎる」浦和Lの同期3人がオフを満喫! 私服の3ショット連発にファン大絶賛!

皇后杯の一戦を終えたジェフユナイテッド市原・千葉レディースのGK米澤萌香が試合後の取材に応じ、手応えと課題を口にした。 千葉Lは14日、栃木県のカンセキスタジアムとちぎで行われた第45回皇后杯準々決勝で、三菱重工浦和レッズレディースと対戦。0-2で敗れた。 総じて浦和にゲームを支配される展開となったが、米澤は随所で好セーブを披露。7分の猶本光のミドル、27分の水谷有希の一振りを好反応で防ぎ、81分にも裏へ抜け出した島田芽依のシュートをストップし、クロスへの対応でも好判断を見せた。 「自分は身長が低い分(162cm)、そこはハンデかなとは思いますが、セーブできたところは自分の自信にもつながると思います」 昨季は公式戦1試合の出場にとどまったが、今季は初出場となったWEリーグカップグループステージ第5節のサンフレッチェ広島レジーナ戦で印象的な活躍を披露。リーグ戦でも第3節から第5節にかけてスタメンを勝ち取り、正守護神の清水栞とポジションを争うにまで至った。しばし先発を外れたものの、この日は公式戦4試合ぶりに先発の座を掴んだ。 「気合いは入っていましたが、冷静さも大事だなとは思っていたので、気負いせず、自分の今出せる最大限の力を出せたらという感じで挑みました」 「いろいろな気持ちがあった中で、自分の良さを出せた部分もありましたが、出し切れないところもありました。前半は長い時間耐えていた中で失点してしまい、相手に流れをつかませてしまった。後半も早い段階で失点してしまったので、そこは反省しないといけない」 守備力は際立った一方、浦和戦のビルドアップはチーム全体を含めて手詰まりすることも。「後ろからつなぐべきか、ロング(ボール)で相手コートに運ぶべきか、判断が少し遅かったところがある」と、個人としてチームとしても、迷いの生じた部分があったと課題を口にする。 「レベルが高い相手と試合をして、自分の弱みなどが大きく出たのかなと思う試合でした。(リーグ戦再開まで)間は空きますが、その中でシュートストップももっとこなさなければいけないと思いますし、ビルドアップへの参加とフィードの質も、もっと総合的に高めなくてはと思います」 WEリーグは現在ウインターブレイク中のため、千葉Lの次戦は3月頭となる予定。さらなる成長を誓う米澤にも注目が集まる。 2024.01.15 10:40 Mon
