ティエリ・アンリがU-21フランス代表監督に就任! パリ五輪で初優勝託される

フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は21日、ティエリ・アンリ氏(46)のU-21フランス代表監督就任を発表した。契約期間は2025年までの2年となり、フランス代表のレジェンドストライカーは、来年に行われるパリ・オリンピックでの初優勝を託されることになった。

現役時代にアーセナルやバルセロナなどで活躍し、世界最高のストライカーの1人として知られるアンリ氏。引退後は指導者に転身し、2016年にベルギー代表のアシスタントコーチに就任。その後、古巣モナコとモントリオール・インパクトで監督を務めた後、2021年5月に再びベルギー代表でロベルト・マルティネス監督の副官を務めた。

カタール・ワールドカップ終了後にマルティネス監督と共に同職を退任した後は、ベルギー代表監督やパリ・サンジェルマンのアシスタントコーチ就任の可能性も取り沙汰されていたが、いずれも実現せず。

一方、エスポワールの愛称で知られるU-21フランス代表は2017年からシルヴァン・リポル監督が長らく指揮していたが、ベスト8敗退となったU-21欧州選手権後に退任。後任にはサブリ・ラムシ氏などの名前も挙がっていたが、理事会は最終的にアンリ氏の招へいを決断した。

なお、U-21フランス代表は来月7日にU-21デンマーク代表との親善試合、同11日にU-21欧州選手権予選のU-21スロベニア代表戦を控えており、アンリ新監督は短い準備期間の中で初陣に臨む。

「1週間ずっと泣いていた」ベルギー代表のエースがカタールW杯後に壊れる…ルカクは毎日3回も電話して支えた人物に「本当に感謝している」

▽現役時代にインテルなどで活躍した元イタリア代表DFマルコ・マテラッツィ氏が、2006年ドイツ・ワールドカップ(W杯)決勝で起こした元フランス代表MFジネディーヌ・ジダン氏との“頭突き事件”で、自身が発した侮辱発言の真相を明かした。同氏がフランス『レキップ』のインタビューで語った。 ▽ジダン頭突き事件は、2006年7月9日にベルリン・オリンピアシュタディオンで行われたドイツW杯決勝のイタリア代表VSフランス代表の延長戦で起きた。それ以前から何度かジダン氏とマッチアップしていたマテラッツィ氏は、延長後半5分にジダン氏に対して、幾度か声をかけると、この挑発にのったジダン氏は無言のまま、マテラッツィ氏の胸に頭突きを見舞い、この暴力行為によってレッドカードを掲示され、自身の現役ラストマッチを退場という形で終えることになった。 ▽マテラッツィ氏は、同事件からちょうど10年目を迎える前日の8日にジダン氏の母国フランスのメディア『レキップ』で、ジダン氏に向けて言い放った侮辱発言の真相を明かしている。「以前から多くの人々に、ジダンにあのような行為(頭突き)をさせた自分の発言内容について聞かれ続けてきた。だから、私はそのことに関して本を出版することを決めた」「多くの新聞が推測したように、私は彼の母親についてではなく、彼の姉について言及した。私は15歳の頃に自分の母親を亡くしている。だから、彼の母親を侮辱するほど下劣な人間ではないんだ」「また、私はあの事件がなぜこれほどの騒ぎとなったのか、未だに理解できないんだ。私があの日に関して覚えているのは、自分が決めたゴールだけだ」「時々、イタリアでは街中でファンと遭遇することがあるけど、彼らは“マルコ、あいつ(ジダン)から頭突きを受けるなんてうまくやったな”と声をかけてくるんだ。ただ、僕は頭突きされた側だから、少し腹立たしい気持ちになる。それはこの事件の奇妙な部分でもある。ただ、個人的には大したことだと思っていないし、あの行為に怒ってもいないんだ」 ▽なおマテラッツィ氏は、ジダン頭突き事件後にイタリア国内のテレビ番組でこの侮辱発言に関して、「お前の姉貴より娼婦のほうがましだ」と発言していたことを認めていた。 2016.07.09 14:47 Sat
