7日チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のグループF第4節が行われ、ミランとパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)がサン・シーロで対戦。ホームのミランが2-1で勝利し、死の組と呼ばれるグループFは大混戦となっている。

サン・シーロでのこの一戦には、現役時代に両方のクラブでプレーし、現在はインテル・マイアミの共同オーナーを務めるベッカム氏が来場。U-21フランス代表の監督を務めるアンリ氏とともに試合を解説していた。

その中、試合前にあった2人のちょっとしたやり取りが話題に。ポテトチップスを食べていたアンリ氏。隣にいたベッカム氏は自分も食べようと思ったのかポテチの袋を受け取ったが、すでに中身は残ってなかった。

ポテチを食べられなかったベッカム氏は袋を逆さにして残っていないことを確認すると、アンリ氏を軽くにらむが、アンリ氏は最後まですっとぼけたような表情を見せていた。

サッカー界のレジェンド同士のポテトチップスを巡る争いには、ファンからも「子どもか」、「微笑ましい」、「ポテチ食べたくなった」、「目が笑ってない」、「絶対怒ってる」と多くの反響が集まっている。

ただ、イギリス『デイリー・スター』や『talkSPORT』によると、2人の争いはガチではなく、2人が食べていたポテトチップス「Lay's (レイズ)」の広告の撮影である可能性が高いようだ。

アーセナルが今夏シンガポールでプレシーズンツアーを実施、ミラン&ニューカッスルと対戦
