ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(37)が、22日に行われるサウジアラビアリーグ第14節のアル・イテファク戦でアル・ナスルデビューする可能性が浮上した。

ロナウドは12月31日にサウジアラビアの強豪であるアル・ナスルへの加入を発表。2日に現地入りし、翌3日にはMrsoolパーク・スタジアムで新天地のファン・サポーターに向けたお披露目イベントにも参加していた。

その後、新天地デビューが見込まれた5日のアル・タエー戦は大雨と悪天候によるスタジアムの電気設備の問題によって1日延期されたが、同選手はこの延期に関わらず、元々同試合でプレーする資格がないことが明らかになっていた。
サウジ・プロフェッショナルリーグのルールでは、1チームが登録できる外国籍選手の上限が8人となっているが、ロナウドはアル・ナスルにとって9人目の外国籍選手になるという。

現時点で選手登録ができていない状況のロナウドだが、アル・ナスルのクラブ関係者はフランス『AFP通信』の取材に対して、｢アル・ナスルは双方合意の上でFWヴァンサン・アブバカルとの契約を解除した。彼は契約期間中に支払われる予定だった給与を全額受け取った｣と、カメルーン代表FWとの契約を解除しロナウドの選手登録が完了したと説明。
また、｢しかし、ロナウドには1試合の出場停止処分が科せられているため、14日のアル・シャバブ戦には出場しない｣と、」明かしている。

マンチェスター・ユナイテッド在籍時にエバートンファンの少年の手を叩き、スマートフォンを破壊したとされる一件でロナウドには2試合の出場停止が下されており、最速でもアル・ナスルデビューは22日に行われるアル・イテファク戦とのホームゲームになるようだ。

音声データ流出のペレス会長、C・ロナウドとモウリーニョを酷評「2人とも異常者」

驚異の身体能力持つC・ロナウドの垂直跳びの記録は?かつてはほぼ3mの高さからヘディングシュート

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚
