C・ロナウドに280億円を出すアル・ナスルとは? 指揮官は日本代表選手を指導した名将、各国代表選手も多数所属する強豪の1つ
世界最高峰の選手の1人であるポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(37)が、ヨーロッパでのキャリアを終え、アジアへとやってきた。 31日、サウジアラビアのアル・ナスルがC・ロナウドとの契約を発表。契約期間は2025年までとなり、報道によれば年俸は破格の1億7700万ポンド(約280億円)と見られている。 2030年のワールドカップ(W杯)招致を目指すサウジアラビアのアンバサダーにもなってもらいたい考えがあるようで、戦力としてだけでなく、様々な部分での影響力に期待をしていることがわかる契約となった。 そのC・ロナウドが加入したアル・ナスルとは一体どんなチームなのか。基本的な情報を紹介したい。 <span class="paragraph-subtitle">◆サウジアラビアの強豪クラブの1つ</span> 中東のクラブといえば、「アル・○○」というクラブが多く、混同してしまう方も多いだろう。また、アル・ナスルという名前は、アラブ首長国連邦(UAE)にもアル・ナスルSCというクラブがあるが、C・ロナウドが加入したのはサウジアラビアのクラブであり、別物だ。 サウジアラビアの強豪といえば、AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)で日本勢が何度も対戦しているアル・ヒラルというクラブがある。このクラブは、アル・ナスルの最大のライバルとして知られ、人気も高いクラブ。共に首都のリヤドが本拠地であり、リヤド・ダービーは大きな盛り上がりを見せる。 リーグ優勝は9回で、最後の優勝は2018-19シーズン。それ以降はタイトルを獲得できていないのが現状だ。(スーパーカップを除く) 今シーズンはサウジ・プロ・リーグで10試合を終えて勝ち点23の2位に位置。首位はアル・シャバブで勝ち点差は1だ。なお、王者のアル・ヒラルは勝ち点21で4位につけている。 <span class="paragraph-subtitle">◆指揮官は日本代表選手も指導した過去</span> 現在のアル・ナスルを指揮するのはフランス人のルディ・ガルシア監督だ。これまでサンテチェンヌやディジョン、ル・マン、リールなどフランス国内クラブを指揮すると、2013年から2016年1月まではローマを指揮。2016年10月にマルセイユの監督に就任すると、日本代表DF酒井宏樹(浦和レッズ)を指導。2019年10月からリヨンの監督に就任した。 リール時代には、FWムサ・ソウやMFエデン・アザールを擁し、2010-11シーズンにリーグ・アンとクープ・ドゥ・フランスで優勝した経歴がある。 2022年7月にアル・ナスルの監督に就任。前述の通り初のサウジアラビアでの指揮は2位と好位置につけている。 <span class="paragraph-title">◆欧州でのプレー経験者を補強中</span> C・ロナウドの補強は大きなものとなったが、すでにチームの強化は進んでいた。 2022年夏には、2018年のロシアW杯で日本代表とも対戦したことがあるコロンビア代表GKダビド・オスピナをナポリから獲得。また、マルセイユ時代の教え子でもあるスペイン人DFアルバロ・ゴンサレスも獲得した。 さらに、かつてはバイエルンやヴォルフスブルク、マルセイユでもプレーしたフェネルバフチェの元ブラジル代表MFルイス・グスタボも獲得。スタッド・ランスからはコートジボワール代表DFジスラン・コナンなども獲得していた。 ヨーロッパのサッカーを知り、ガルシア監督がよく知る選手を補強してチームは上手く機能している状況。C・ロナウドもチームに馴染むことはすぐにできる可能性もありそうだ。 <span class="paragraph-subtitle">◆カタールW杯出場選手も所属</span> そしてカタールW杯に出場した選手たちも所属している。サウジアラビア代表では、MFアリ・アル・ハッサン、MFサミ・アル・ナジェイ、DFスルタン・アル・ガナムなど、6名が所属している。 さらに、カメルーン代表として参加したFWヴァンサン・アブバカルも所属。かつてベンフィカで逸材として騒がれた元ブラジル代表MFタリスカも所属している。 サウジアラビアだけでなく各国の代表クラスの選手も所属しており、来シーズン以降のACLではC・ロナウドのプレーが見られる可能性にも期待がかかる。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】C・ロナウドがアル・ナスルの7番のユニフォームを笑顔で掲げる</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmzn4-LMjt2/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF; C・ロナウドと事実婚状態のジョルジーナさん、結婚について言及「いつか式が挙げられるはず」

驚異の身体能力持つC・ロナウドの垂直跳びの記録は?かつてはほぼ3mの高さからヘディングシュート
