マルセイユにレンタル中のポルトガル人DFヌーノ・タヴァレス(22)が、保有元のアーセナルに対して不満を漏らした。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。
2021年夏にアーセナルへ加入したタヴァレスは、スコットランド代表DFキーラン・ティアニーとポジション争いを繰り広げながらも昨季のプレミアリーグで22試合に出場。パフォーマンスに波はあったものの、ミケル・アルテタ監督から一定の評価を得ていた。
しかし、クラブは今夏の移籍市場でマンチェスター・シティからウクライナ代表DFオレクサンドル・ジンチェンコを獲得。左サイドバックでは3番手に転落する懸念からタヴァレスは移籍を希望し、7月にマルセイユへのレンタル移籍が発表された。
このレンタル移籍にはアーセナル側の要望で買い取りオプションは付随しなかったが、選手本人はこの決定に不満を抱いているようだ。フランス『RMC Sport』の取材を受けたタヴァレスは、買い取りオプションを認めて欲しかったとアーセナルの決定に不満を吐露。一方で、リーグ・アン開幕から全試合に出場しているマルセイユでの満足感にも触れ、引き続き新天地での活躍を誓っている。
「アーセナルでは、ティアニーとの競争が問題になっていたかはわからない。でも、今の僕にとってそれはどうでも良いことだ」

ガブリエウとヘンダーソン口論、FAは不問に…「申告された疑惑の発言は確認されなかった」
