カンテとリュカがフランス代表を離脱、クロアチア戦を欠場へ

フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)は11日、フランス代表MFエンゴロ・カンテと同国代表DFリュカ・エルナンデスの2選手が離脱したことを発表した。

ヒザに慢性的な痛みを抱えるカンテは、4日に行われたUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-23初戦のデンマーク代表戦でフル出場するも、6日のクロアチア代表戦、10日のオーストリア代表戦をいずれも欠場していた。

一方、リュカは筋肉に痛みがあり、カンテ同様に初戦のデンマーク戦のみの出場となっていたが、第2子出産に立ち会う理由もあって離脱となる。
3試合を終えて2分け1敗の未勝利フランス代表は13日にUNL第4節でクロアチア代表と対戦する。

「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。 トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。 1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 「フランス代表を引退しようとした」ムバッペが告白「猿呼ばわりされて…」

パリ・サンジェルマンのFWキリアン・ムバッペが、フランス代表からの引退を考えていたことを明かした。 カタール・ワールドカップの開幕が間近に迫り、先日発表されたフランス代表のメンバーに選ばれたムバッペ。だが、最近の『Sports Illustrated』のインタビューで語ったところでは、フランス代表を引退することを考えていた時期もあったようだ。 曰く、きっかけは昨夏のユーロ2020。ラウンド16でスイス代表と対戦した際、PK戦でシュートを止められ敗戦の原因のひとつとなってしまったムバッペには、サポーターから罵詈雑言を浴びせられた。SNS上では過度な侮辱的ツイートをした19歳の青年が後に有罪判決を受け、罰金を課せられるまでに。 ムバッペはその後、フランスサッカー協会(FFF)のル・グラエ会長と話し合いの場を持ったというが、人種差別について取り合ってくれず、サポートは一切なかったという。同会長に関しては、過去に「黒人プレーヤーがゴールを決めると、スタジアム全体が沸き立つ。フットボール界に人種差別はほとんどない」などの発言をしており、横行する人種差別に対して対岸の火事を装い、多くの非難を浴び続けている。 そのため、フランス代表のために戦う意欲を失いかけたというムバッペ。しかし、周囲と話し合った結果、「諦めることが正しいメッセージではないと判断した」と、引退を考え直したという。 「僕はみんなのお手本だと思う。これが新しいフランスだ。だから代表を諦めなかった。これは若い世代への『僕たちは強いんだぞ』というメッセージだ」 2022.11.11 20:15 Fri
