日本代表戦に向けたブラジル代表、東京VのGKを追加招集!?

6日に日本代表とキリンチャレンジカップ2022で対戦するブラジル代表だが、日本での活動に向けて追加招集した選手がいるようだ。

ブラジル『グローボ』によると、その選手は東京ヴェルディに所属するGKマテウスとのこと。日本戦に向けたトレーニングに招集されたようだ。

韓国代表との試合を2日に終えたブラジル代表。マンチェスター・シティのGKエデルソンが負傷した中、トレーニングパートナーが足りないことからマテウスに声が掛かったようだ。なお、試合に向けた招集ではないため、日本戦に出場するメンバーには入らないという。
マテウスはコリンチャンスやフィゲイレンセでプレーしており、世代別のブラジル代表を経験。A代表にも2013年に招集されたことはあるが、デビューは果たしていない。

2020年1月に東京Vに加入すると、これまで公式戦71試合に出場。しかし、今シーズンはここまで一度も出番はなく、ベンチ入りも果たしていない状況だ。
韓国戦はウェヴェルトンが守護神を務めており、日本戦はリバプールのGKアリソン・ベッカーが守護神を務めると見られている。

東京Vの16年ぶりJ1昇格に貢献、正守護神・マテウスが契約更新「素晴らしい思い出に残る1年になるよう」

東京ヴェルディの城福浩監督が、“総緑戦”で掴んだ勝利を誇った。 6日、東京Vは味の素スタジアムで行われた明治安田J1リーグ第15節で横浜FCと対戦し2-0で勝利した。 前節、浦和レッズとのアウェイゲームで4試合ぶり失点と敗戦を喫した東京V。結果・内容共にダメージが残る敗戦となり、中2日での指揮官の立て直しに注目が集まったなかでの今回の一戦となった。 4連戦ラストマッチでの中2日での対戦ということもあり、城福浩監督は先発6人を変更。浦和戦の退場でサスペンションとなったDF谷口栄斗、負傷のDF千田海人に加え、主力数名を外し、いずれも今シーズンリーグ戦初スタメンとなるDF深澤大輝、MF稲見哲行の2選手やMF松橋優安といった先発機会の少ない選手を抜擢した。 ベンチに主力アタッカーを残し後半勝負を窺わせるスタートを切ったなか、前半は無失点を最優先とするような試合運びとなった。互いに得点を奪えていないチーム同士という局面の攻防が続いたが、36分には右サイドで見事な局面打開を見せた松橋のドリブルを起点にMF森田晃樹を経由したボールがボックス左の齋藤功佑に繋がると、古巣初対戦のMFのクロスをFW染野唯月が頭で合わせて先制に成功。 0-0でもベターという状況でベストに近い1-0のスコアで折り返すと、後半は終始押し込まれる展開ながらも要所を締める守備で、DF福森晃斗の高精度のキックを活かしたセットプレー以外で決定機まで持ち込ませず。 すると、最少得点差で迎えた後半アディショナルタイムには長らくベンチからも遠ざかっていたFW熊取谷一星が右サイドからのカットインで左足を振り抜くと、DFンドカ・ボニフェイスにディフレクトしてコースが変わってゴール左隅に突き刺さり、大卒ルーキーの値千金の一発で追加点。急造布陣での厳しい戦いとなったが、今季初の複数得点差での勝利となった。 中3日で臨んだ浦和戦では相手が中7日、中2日で臨んだ横浜FC戦は相手が中6日という異例の状況での連戦を前に「だからこそ『勝ってやる』という思いでやる。だからこそ『走ってやる』と」と意気込んでいた指揮官。 今回の一戦ではその指揮官の檄に応えるかのように、走行距離とスプリント回数では休養十分の相手を完全に凌駕。内容面では少なくない課題も見受けられたが、チームの姿勢や戦うという部分では間違いなく満足のいく内容だったはずだ。 試合後会見の冒頭で城福監督は「日程のディスアドバンテージを一緒に戦おうと、背中を押そうという、そういう空気を感じました。彼らと一緒に喜び合えてよかったなと思います」と、12番目の選手として“総緑戦”の一員となったファン・サポーターへの感謝を口に。 試合内容に関してはセットプレーの対応で苦戦を強いられたものの、チーム全体で共通意識を持ちながら粘り強く戦えたとそのパフォーマンスを評価した。 「セットプレーでは少し危ない場面がありましたけれど、流れのなかでは20分、25分ぐらいまでそこまで危ないシーンは作らせなかった。それがあったからこそ、自分たちの時間をしっかり手繰り寄せて1点目を取れたと思います」 「最終ラインも中盤も急造のなかで、よくお互いのよさを出しながら辛抱強く、我慢するところは我慢して耐えたことで、最後に追加点が取れた。ずっとここのところメンバーにも入れなかった熊取谷一星がそれを取ったことは、このチームにとって非常に大きなことだなと思っています」 熊取谷同様にチームにとって大きかったのは、FW木村勇大同様にファーストディフェンダーとして守備面でハードワークをこなしながら得点を奪うという難しいタスクのなかで苦戦を強いられている染野に今季2点目が生まれた点だ。 指揮官は今のヴェルディに求められるストライカー像について改めて説明するとともに、そのタスクを担ったなかで結果を残した染野のゴールに「本当に喜ばしい」と目を細めた。 「我々はご承知の通り、外国籍の選手というのはゴールキーパーのマテウスしかおらず、他のJ1のクラブと比べて、誰かにボールを預けておけば、チャンスが作れるというメンバー構成ではない。じゃあいかにしてJ1で戦っていくかとなった時に、チーム一体となって全員で前線から守備をする。チーム一体となって全員で攻撃をするということを貫かない限り、誰かに頼ったサッカーをしたら、おそらくJ1にはいられないです」 「それはもう火を見るより明らかで、それをみんなが深く理解しながら、ただストライカーというのは点を取りたいですし、点を取るためにエネルギーを貯めたいのがストライカーなので、かなり葛藤があったはずです」 「ただ、自分のやり方は曲げないし、このクラブがJ1に居続けたいならば、そこを妥協してはいけないので、そのなかで得点を取るにはどうしたらいいかというのを、ずっとコンディションを上げていくことを含めて葛藤し続けた彼が、彼らしいヘディングで点を取ったということは本当に喜ばしいです。守備からスタートして攻撃もやり続けていればボールが来るんだということを実感してくれたとしたら、またこのチームのコンセプトにそってプレーする後押しになったのではないかなと思います」 染野が攻撃面の主役とすれば、守備面の主役は文句なしで背番号2だ。2度のケガを乗り越え、直近数試合でベンチ入りしていた深澤は、この試合が今季リーグ初先発だけでなく公式戦初出場となった。 アカデミー時代や中央大学ではセンターバックでプレーしていたものの、174cmのDFの東京Vでの主戦場はサイドバックやウイングバック。今季はトレーニングマッチで3バックの中央を務めていたが、急造布陣でぶっつけ本番での今回の一戦を迎える上でプレッシャーは相当なものがあったはずだ。 しかし、不退転の覚悟で臨んだ生え抜きDFはFWルキアン、FW鈴木武蔵らフィジカル能力に長けたストライカーに一歩も引くことなく見事な対人対応で封殺。さらに、持ち味のライン統率、コーチングで味方を動かしながらクリーンシートの立役者となった。 戦前から背番号2の起用に含みを見せていた城福監督は、「今回出られないメンバーが決まった時から、もう彼しかないというふうに思っていた」と今回の起用に一切の迷いはなかったとコメント。 その上で重責を果たした深澤の働きを称賛している。 「深澤大輝は去年もクローザーとして出てきて、何度か悔しい思いをしていましたし、J1のピッチに立って結果を出すという思いは、彼だけじゃないですけど非常に強かったと思います。ケガで出遅れたなかで、それが治ってもベンチメンバーに入れる時と入れない時があり、ベンチメンバーに入っても試合に出られないという状況が続いた」 「そのなかでも、残り組というかメンバー外の練習であったり、2日前、3日前というのは、まだメンバーがはっきりしないなかで、エクストラをやっているなかでも、彼は常に高いレベルを示していました。もちろん、彼のなかで課題はありつつも、グループとして力を出すという意味においては、今回こうなった瞬間に、僕は深澤大輝しかいないなと思いました」 「もちろん相手の個のフィジカル的なものは非常に強烈ですけれども、我々はグループで守ると。グループの最大値を出すのであれば、ひょっとしたら深澤大輝はこのチームのなかでも1、2を争うような選手であることをずっと示し続けていたので、今回出られないメンバーが決まった時から、もう彼しかないというふうに思っていました。本当に期待に応えてくれたと思うし、彼の期する思いというのはチーム全員に伝播したんじゃないかなと思います」 2025.05.06 23:45 Tue

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

ネイマールはC・ロナウド似? メッシ似? ペレ氏の見解は…
