アーセナル女子は18日、女子チャンピオンズリーグ(WCL)予選第1ラウンド準決勝でオクジェトペス(カザフスタン)とロシアのサプサン・アレナで対戦し、4-0で勝利を収めた。
予選第1ラウンドは4チーム1組の15グループに分かれてトーナメントを行い、各グループの勝者が第2ラウンドに進出できるレギュレーションとなっている。
アーセナルにとっては今季初となる公式戦。ヨナス・アイデバル新監督はFWフィフィアネ・ミーデマを最前線に置く[4-3-3]で臨み、FW岩渕真奈はインサイドハーフで先発出場した。
力の差を見せるアーセナルは序盤からハーフコートゲームを展開。圧倒的にボールを握って攻め続けると、14分にミーデマの横パスをペナルティアーク内で受けた岩渕が意表を突いたトーキックを右隅に沈め、幸先よく先制に成功する。

“ジャンピングチョップ事件”いまだ和解なし、ファン・ニステルローイが宿敵との騒動を振り返る
