FAWSLの最多79ゴールの記録保持者・ミーデマ

アーセナルは13日、オランダ女子代表FWフィフィアネ・ミーデマ(27)の退団を発表した。

ミーデマは2017年にバイエルンから完全移籍で加入。バイエルンでも同僚だった元なでしこジャパンFW岩渕真奈とアーセナルでもチームメイトとなり、仲の良さも見せていた。

ミーデマは公式戦172試合で125ゴール50アシストという脅威的な数字を残し、2018-19シーズンにはFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で優勝。カップ戦では3度の優勝を果たした。

FAWSLでは79ゴールを記録し、これはリーグ史上最多。ゴールデンブーツも2度受賞するなど、アーセナルのエースとしてプレーを続けてきた。

しかし、2022年12月にヒザの前十字じん帯を断裂し10カ月離脱。2023年10月に復帰したが、2024年3月に再びヒザの手術を受け、今シーズンはわずか13試合の出場に終わっていた。
