「ガッカリしている」PK失敗の3人に差別投稿を行った5名が逮捕

ユーロ2020決勝で敗れたイングランド代表。その戦犯としてPKを外した若手3選手に対するSNS上での人種差別投稿が見られたが、5名の逮捕者が出たようだ。イギリス『BBC』が報じた。

11日に行われたユーロ2020の決勝。イタリア代表との決勝戦で、初のユーロ制覇を目指したイングランドだったが、PK戦まで縺れた試合は3-2で敗れた。

そのPK戦では、大会MVPにも輝いたイタリア代表GKジャンルイジ・ドンナルンマが2つのPKをストップするなど活躍したが、失敗したFWマーカス・ラッシュフォード、MFジェイドン・サンチョ、MFブカヨ・サカの3名に対し、SNSで差別的な虐待の投稿がなされていた。
この事件には多くの選手やクラブが声明を発表。またイングランドサッカー協会(FA)やボリス・ジョンソン首相らも声明を発表し、厳正な対応をするとしていた。

マーク・ロバーツ警察本部長は「全国の人々に、とても大きな衝撃を与え、愕然とした」とコメント。イングランド代表の戦いを賞賛しながら、虐待的なメッセージを送ったものを非難した。
「イングランド代表は、大会期間中、プロ意識と尊厳を持って行動し、真のロールモデルとなった」

「彼らに限らず、誰に対してもこのような忌まわしい罵声を浴びせることが許されると考える人がいることにガッカリしている」

今回逮捕されたのはランコーンに住む42歳の男性。チェシャー警察により逮捕されたという。その男は、人種的憎悪を煽る可能性のある脅迫的で罵倒的、侮辱的なメッセージを投稿した疑いで逮捕されたとのことだ。

南野拓実がフランス大手『レキップ』の年間ベストイレブン選出! 飛躍の2年目は9ゴール6アシストで2位フィニッシュに貢献

ユーロ制覇の立役者、ドンナルンマがPSGで「99」を背負わない理由とは?

10日、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)がバルセロナを退団したアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ(34)を獲得した。 5日にバルセロナとの契約更新が伝えられると思われた中、まさかの退団が発表。クラブサイドの「財政的・構造的な障害(ラ・リーガの規定)」を理由に、再契約叶わなかった。 それから5日後、10日にメッシのPSG加入が発表。世界中が注目した新天地はフランスのパリに決まった。 PSGは言わずと知れたビッグクラブ。各国の代表選手を揃え、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)制覇という大きな目標に向けてチームを強化している。 今夏の移籍市場でもメッシ以外に多くの選手を獲得。悲願成就に向けて、着々と戦力を整えている状況だ。 パターンとしてはトップに元アルゼンチン代FWマウロ・イカルディが入ることもある。また、ネイマール不在時には左にムバッペが入ることもあった。 また、ドイツ代表MFユリアン・ドラクスラーは、左右のウイングを務めることも可能だ。 [4-2-3-1]でも基本的には変わらない。ボランチが2枚になるものの、トップ下にはネイマールが入ることが多く、その他にはイタリア代表MFマルコ・ヴェッラッティや元ブラジル代表MFラフィーニャが入ることに。両サイドはディ・マリア、ドラクスラー、ムバッペの他、イタリア代表FWモイぜ・ケアンなどが入った。 何れにしてもベースは3トップ。この形はメッシが所属したバルセロナと変わらないシステムだ。昨季終盤こそ、ロナルド・クーマン監督は[3-5-2]や[3-4-2-1]のシステムを採用していたが、メッシとしては慣れ親しんでいるシステムと言える。 また中盤にはオランダ代表MFジョルジニオ・ワイナルドゥムがリバプールから加入。最終ラインではモロッコ代表DFアクラフ・ハキミがインテルから、スペイン代表DFセルヒオ・ラモスがレアル・マドリーから加入。また、イタリア代表GKジャンルイジ・ドンナルンマがミランから加入した。 下部組織からも選手を昇格させているが、主軸になるにはまだ時間が掛かるだろう。その中に、メッシも加わるという状況だ。 では、[4-2-3-1]のシステムならどうなるか。前線の組み合わせは2列目に3人、1トップという状況だ。現在のメンバーで考えれば、メッシはトップ下での起用となるだろう。1トップにはムバッペが入り、左にはネイマール、右にディ・マリアという感じだろうか。もちろん試合中にポジションは移動するが、基本ポジションとしてはトップ下になると考えられる。 一方で、2列目のサイドでの起用はなかなか考えにくい。サイドハーフとなると守備面での貢献が求められ、守備に時間を割くことも必要とされる。試合中の流れでサイドに位置することはあっても、基本として置かれることはないと考えて良いだろう。 北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

シティで序列低下のウォーカーに古巣2クラブが関心、熱心なのはイングランド2部クラブ
