クロースが代表引退決断か…独『ビルト』はイングランド戦がラストマッチと報道

レアル・マドリーに所属するMFトニ・クロース(31)が、ドイツ代表からの引退を決断したようだ。ドイツ『ビルト』が報じている。

ヨアヒム・レーブ政権の集大成としてユーロ2020に臨んだドイツだが、29日に行われたラウンド16のイングランド代表戦では0-2の敗戦を喫し、ベスト16で敗退となった。

この敗戦によってイングランド戦がレーブ監督のディー・マンシャフトでのラストマッチとなったが、現スカッドで最多出場数を誇るクロースにとってもラストマッチとなったようだ。

同試合後のフラッシュインタビューでは自身の去就に関して言及しなかったクロースだが、大会前から今大会限りでの代表引退の可能性を主張していた『ビルト』は、同選手が引退を発表すると改めて主張している。

2010年3月に行われたアルゼンチン代表戦でA代表デビューを飾ったクロースは、ここまで歴代7位タイの通算106試合に出場し、17ゴールを記録。3度のワールドカップ、3度のユーロ本大会に参加し、2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップでは全試合に出場し、優勝に大きく貢献していた。

現時点ではあくまで『ビルト』の主張であり、クロースのコメントを待つ必要があるが、ドイツが誇る世界屈指のゲームメイカーはこのまま代表キャリアを終えることになるのか…。

データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。 1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 194cmの大型MFシュタハにプレミアから熱視線! リバプールら4クラブが関心寄せる
