レアル・マドリーの元フランス代表FWカリム・ベンゼマが自身について赤裸々に語った。スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』が伝えた。 2009年7月に自身が育ったリヨンを離れ、マドリーへと加入したベンゼマ。マドリーでのキャリアが10年以上を迎え、公式戦541試合に出場し266ゴール140アシストを記録している。 これまでは、様々な評価が下され、かつて所属したポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(ユベントス)との比較も絶えなかったが、退団後はチームの得点源としてより存在感を増している。 そのベンゼマが、スペイン『エル・パイス』で自身のプライベートな部分について語った。 アルジェリア人の両親の下、リヨンで生まれ育ったベンゼマ。子供の頃のことについて「僕は厳しい場所からやって来たんだ。身なりがよく、素敵な車を持っている年上の男の人を見ていて、僕は彼らのようになりたいと思っていたんだ」と子供の頃の憧れについて語った。 リヨンの下部組織でもプレーしたベンゼマだが、特別なアイドルはいなかったという。それでも「サッカーではブラジルのロナウド」とモデルはいたとのこと。さらに「僕は(マイク・)タイソンも尊敬している。なぜなら、2人とも底辺から来て徐々に這い上がっていったからだ。決して楽をしたわけでもなく、タダで何かを与えられたわけでもない」と、徐々に力をつけて名声を挙げた2人をモデルとしていたことを明かした。 そのベンゼマは、現在はマドリーのエースに君臨。かつてのことを振り返り「クリスティアーノ(・ロナウド)がチームを去ったことで、僕は別の役割を担うこととなった。彼は毎年50ゴールを決めていて、彼の試合に適応する必要があった。彼は世界で最高の1人だし、僕は彼のそばで幸せだった」とコメント。ガレス・ベイル(トッテナム)とともに“BBC”と呼ばれていたトリオ時代も幸せだったという。 一方で、同じアルジェリアにルーツを持つジネディーヌ・ジダン監督については「彼は僕にとって兄のような存在だ。いつもそばにいて、僕にアドバイスをくれる」とコメント。助けになっていることを明かした。 そのベンゼマだが、なかなか感情を表に出すことが少なく、冷酷な人間だと思われることも多い。 しかし、「僕には感情があるよ。でも、そうであっても自分の弱点を晒すことは決してない。僕は弱っている時、それを自分の中に留めるんだ」とコメント。冷たい人間ではなく、感情をあまり表に出さないタイプだと語った。 そのベンゼマは、現在多くの選手が被害にあっている人種差別主義者についてもコメント。「ムカつくし、恐ろしいし、汚らしい。僕たちは全て同じだ」とかたり、反感を露わにした。 また、「僕には友達が1人しかいない。だから、友情が僕にとってとても重要であることを示している」とコメント。「お金は物事をはるかに簡単にしてくれる。でも、幸せになるために何百万も必要とはしないよ」と語り、お金が全ての幸せをもたらす訳ではないとの見解を語った。 2021.03.04 20:58 Thu

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

リバプールFWに隠された秘密…ジオゴ・ジョタは実は本名じゃなかった、その理由とは?
