「起こり得ること」C・ロナウドに「黙れ」と言われた韓国代表FWがその後のやり取りに「彼とは話していない」

韓国代表のFWチョ・ギュソンが、ポルトガル代表戦での一幕に言及した。ポルトガル『レコルド』が伝えた。

韓国代表としてカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨んだチョ・ギュソン。グループステージの3試合に出場すると、第2戦のガーナ代表戦では2ゴールの活躍を見せ、チームが一時同点に追いつくのに貢献した。

結果ガーナ戦は2-3で敗れたが、続く第3戦のポルトガル代表戦でちょっとしたいざこざが起きていた。

試合の65分、ポルトガルのFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが交代となり、ピッチを去ろうとしたところ、チョ・ギュソンが早くピッチから出るようにと促した。

するとこれに不快感をあらわにしたC・ロナウドが口に手を当て「黙れ」というジェスチャーを示すと、試合後には「韓国の選手が『早く出ていけ』と言ったので、『そんな権限はないんだから黙ってろ』と言ったんだ」と不満を露わにしていた。

その韓国は5日に行われたラウンド16でブラジル代表相手に4-1で大敗。前半だけで4失点をすることになり、ベスト16で姿を消すことになった。

チョ・ギュソンはC・ロナウドとのいざこざについて問われると、「僕たちは試合後にそのことについては話していない。試合中に起こり得ることだ」とコメント。大事ではないとの見解を示した。

また、今大会を最後にパウロ・ベント監督が退任することを発表。すでに決めていたことだとしたが、チョ・ギュソンはベント監督への想いを語った。

「彼を監督として迎え入れることができて、とても感謝している」

「ロッカールームで話をした時、涙を流していた」

「僕のキャリアの中で最も重要な監督の1人として、彼のことを覚えておくことになるだろう」

「君の国では犬を食べる」、パク・チソン氏が自身のチャントに抗議…差別的で侮辱だと公式に語る「韓国人がその歌を聞くと不快になる」

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドで活躍した元韓国代表MFパク・チソン氏が、ファンが歌うチャントに物申した。クラブ公式サイトが伝えた。かつて京都パープルサンガ(現京都サンガF.C.)でもプレーしたパク氏は、2005年7月にPSVからユナイテッドに加入。2012年7月までプレーした。その間、プレミアリーグで4回の優勝を経験した他、チャンピオンズリーグ1回、EFLカップ3回の優勝を誇る。ユナイテッドでは、204試合に出場し28ゴール29アシストと結果を残し、レジェンドの1人となっている。しかし、そのパク氏はファンが歌うチャントに不満を抱いており、自身が現役時代の頃から気にはなっていたことだと明かした。そのチャントは、韓国人が犬の肉を食べるという文化を軽蔑した冗談が盛り込まれたチャントだ。パク氏のチャントは「Park,Park,where ever you may be you eat dogs in your country.
