スペインの一員としてカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場しているF・トーレス。グループステージ最終節の日本代表戦にも途中出場したが、その際にプレーとは別の場所で注目を集めていた。

それは「ABEMA」でピッチリポーターを務めていた槙野智章(ヴィッセル神戸)と解説の本田圭佑のやり取り。槙野がF・トーレスがスペインのルイス・エンリケ監督の娘と付き合っていることを紹介したのだが、緊迫した試合展開だったこともあり、本田が「日本が勝ってる時にちょっと冗談やめてもらっていいかな」と注意していたのだ。

思わぬ注目を集めたF・トーレスだったが、決勝トーナメントを前に、恋人のシラ・マルティネスさんとW杯の会場付近でデートしたようだ。

シラさんが4日にインスタグラムを更新。「今日」のコメントとともにF・トーレスと一緒にアル・マハ島の遊園地で遊ぶ姿だった。2人は巨大なバナナ型のバルーンをゲットしたり、ジェットコースターに乗ったりとカップルらしくデートを楽しんだようだ。

グループステージを日本に次ぐ2位で通過したスペインは、6日にモロッコ代表と対戦。F・トーレスはシラさんのためにもゴールを決められるだろうか。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
