ドイツ代表のハンジ・フリック監督が落胆した。欧州サッカー連盟の公式サイト『UEFA.com』が報じている。この代表ウィークでUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)の4試合が組まれるドイツ。リーグAグループ3の初戦から内容こそ悪くないものの、ここまで2試合連続で引き分けに終わるなか、11日にハンガリー代表との敵地戦に臨んだ。
前節のイングランド代表戦から先発4選手を変更したチームは開始6分で先制を許したが、9分にMFヨナス・ホフマンの2戦連発となるゴールで同点に。さらに畳みかけにかかったが、勝ち越しとはならず、1-1のドローに終わった。
この試合も65%のボールポゼッションをもって、攻めに転じたが、1本のオンターゲットにとどまり、3試合連続で勝ち点1どまりのフリック監督はハンガリー戦を振り返るなかで、不満を示した。

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに

批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に

ドイツ代表キミッヒが風邪で帰国…アメリカ戦も欠場
