今冬の移籍市場でセルティックからスタッド・レンヌに完全移籍した日本代表FW古橋亨梧。苦しい状況が続いている。

16日、リーグ・アン第22節でレンヌはリールと対戦。古橋はベンチスタートとなった。

ゴールレスで試合は進むと73分に古橋は途中出場。しかし、チームはクリストファー・ウーが退場となると、古橋はかつて脱臼した左肩を負傷。肩を押さえたまま退場し、チームは9名となりそのまま0-2で敗戦となった。

移籍後2試合目の出場も肩を痛めてピッチを後にした古橋。試合後、ハビブ・ベイェ監督は古橋の負傷退場で9名になっては戦うのが難しいと語った。

「レッドカードや負傷は助けにはならないが、言い訳にはしたくない。古橋亨梧の肩の負傷により、システムの変更を余儀なくされたが、その瞬間にハイライトがあり、エネルギーが湧いてきた」

「ディフェンダーを4人に変更しても問題はなかった。我々にはチャンスがあり、状況を作り出していた。バランスが悪かったとは思わない」
