チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)リーグフェーズ第5節、アストン・ビラvsユベントスが27日に行われ、0-0で引き分けた。

前節ブルージュ戦をミングスの凡ミスによるPK献上で敗れ、連勝が3で止まった8位アストン・ビラ(勝ち点9)は、直近のクリスタル・パレス戦を2-2で引き分けた。そのパレス戦のスタメンから3選手を変更。ディーニュ、キャッシュ、カマラがスタメンとなった。

一方、11位ユベントス(勝ち点7)は前節リール戦、1-1の引き分け止まりとなって2勝1分け1敗に。直近のミラン戦ではヴラホビッチの負傷離脱を受けてマッケニーを最前線で起用する苦肉の策を投じた中、ゴールレスドローに終わった。そのミラン戦のスタメンから負傷したマッケニーに代えてウェアのみを変更した。

ウェアを最前線に起用したユベントスにボールを持たせる入りとしたビラは13分、CKからパウ・トーレスが際どいヘディングシュートを浴びせて牽制。

その後もビラが構えつつ、カウンターを狙う展開が続いた中、互いに隙を見せず好機を生み出せない状況となった。

そんな中37分、ビラに好機。ボックス内のワトキンスがうまく前を向いて枠内シュート。しかしGKディ・グレゴリオのセーブに阻まれた。

ハーフタイム間際の追加タイム1分、ディーニュの直接FKがバーに直撃したビラだったが、ゴールレスで前半を終えた。

「寄せすぎ」「コピーだ」アストン・ビラの新エンブレムがチェルシーに酷似?実は過去のデザインを踏襲したもの

バレンシアがバレネチェアを獲得…今夏ユーベからアストン・ビラに完全移籍

バレンシアは30日、アストン・ビラからアルゼンチン人MFエンソ・バレネチェア(23)を1年間のレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。母国のニューウェルズ・オールドボーイズの下部組織出身のバレネチェアは、2019年に加入したスイスのシオンでヨーロッパでのキャリアをスタート。その後、2020年1月にユベントスNext Gen(U-23チーム)に加入。セリエCに所属するクラブで主力を担うと、2022年11月に行われたパリ・サンジェルマン戦でユベントスでのファーストチームデビューを飾った。ダイナミックなセントラルMFは昨シーズンにレンタル先のフロジノーネでセリエA36試合に出場し、今シーズンはユベントスのファーストチームでの活躍も期待されたが、ブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイスの獲得オペレーションに際してU-21イングランド代表MFサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(20)と共にアストン・ビラへ完全移籍していた。そして、今シーズンはバレンシアの地で研鑽を積むことになった。 2024.08.30 23:31 Fri

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
