「悔しかった」5度目のタイトル挑戦も準優勝、新潟Lの上尾野辺めぐみは“良い経験”と語る「楽しいゲームができた」
アルビレックス新潟レディースのキャプテンを務めるMF上尾野辺めぐみが、自身5度目の決勝を振り返った。 14日、2023-24 WEリーグカップ決勝のサンフレッチェ広島レジーナvsアルビレックス新潟レディースが等々力陸上競技場で行われ、0-0のまま90分、延長戦が終了。PK戦の末に4-2でS広島Rが勝利し、優勝を決めた。 2006年から新潟Lでプレーする上尾野辺。2011年、2013年、2015年、2016年と皇后杯では4度の決勝に進出するも、いずれもINAC神戸レオネッサに敗れ準優勝に終わった。 2021-22シーズンからWEリーグが発足し参入。その中で2022-23シーズンからスタートしたこのWEリーグカップでは初の決勝進出に。タイトル獲得に期待がかかったが、またしても準優勝に終わった。 2015年の皇后杯決勝は同じ等々力陸上競技場で行われ、1-0で敗れていた上尾野辺。今回の決勝に関しては「悔しかったですけど、こういう決勝の舞台を若い選手が経験してくれたことは良かったですし、試合はお互いが力を出して楽しいゲームができました」と語り、良いゲームであり、チームが経験を積めたことは良かったとした。 チームはWEリーグで8位、10位と中位以下で2シーズンを過ごした中、今シーズンのWEリーグカップでは手応えも。6試合を振り返り「守備のところは良くなってきたと思いますし、得点のところもこれまではあったので決め切るところ。あとはゴール前に入ったところの精度を上げたいです」と語り、決勝でも見られたフィニッシュの精度は課題として残るとした。 キャプテンでもあり、経験を重ねたベテラン選手となった上尾野辺。前回の等々力の決勝では、「自分が自分がじゃないですが、自分が決めてやる感じもありました」とコメント。ただ、「この7年を経て、若手に思い切りプレーしてもらうということを思うようになって、もちろん自分で得点に絡みたい気持ちもありましたけど、1人1人の役割があるので、それを全うしようと思いました」と、キャプテンらしい振る舞いができたと振り返った。 チームは今季からなでしこジャパンでも一緒にプレーし、小学生時代からのチームメイトでもある川澄奈穂美が加入。また、ノジマステラ神奈川相模原から元なでしこジャパンのMF杉田亜未も加わり、世代別代表を経験しているFW道上彩花と、個の能力を持つ選手も揃ってきた。 上尾野辺は「個人個人が技術を持っている選手が多いので、荒削りな部分はありますが、精度を上げればチームとして面白いサッカーができると思っています」とコメント。「自分自身もプレーしていて楽しいです」と高いレベルのサッカーができることを喜んだ。 バランスを取りながらも、攻撃に出ていく姿勢を忘れない上尾野辺。「今日はシステム的には前目でしたが、タイミングがあれば2ボランチになることを監督と話していました」と語り、「カウンターもあり、守備的になることも多かったですが、ちょっと120分の最後の方が前に出て、自分で点を狙いたい欲が出ましたが、バランスを取ろうと思いました」と、局面を見てしっかりと自分の特徴を出せるほど、冷静にプレーできていたようだ。 惜しくも準優勝に終わったWEリーグカップ。11月にはリーグ戦が開幕し、初戦でINAC神戸と対戦することが決まっている。 「INACさんもカップ戦の悔しさをぶつけてくると思います。決勝には進出しましたが、チャレンジャーとして戦うことを忘れずにやれたらと思います」 この流れをしっかりとリーグにつなげ、新潟Lの躍進を果たせるか。開幕が楽しみでもある。 2023.10.15 07:45 Sun

「雪国ならでは」新潟L・川澄奈穂美が公開の斬新トレーニングに脚光!皇后杯古巣戦へ「次の試合で乱用します」
