アル・ナスルを解任されたルイス・カストロ監督

サウジアラビアのアル・ナスルは17日、ルイス・カストロ監督(63)の解任を発表した。

昨年7月にポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドらを擁するクラブの指揮官に就任したカストロ監督。就任以降は公式戦54試合を指揮し、36勝9分け9敗の戦績を残した。就任1年目はアラブ・クラブ・チャンピオンズカップを制覇したものの、サウジ・プロ・リーグでは2位、サウジ国王杯で準優勝、AFCチャンピオンズリーグでベスト8敗退と期待された戦績を残せず。

就任2年目となった今シーズンはサウジ・スーパーカップでアル・ヒラルに屈し、リーグ戦では1勝2分け、直近のACLエリート初戦も1-1のドローに終わっていた。

この成績不振を受け、前ミランのステファノ・ピオリ氏の招へいに動くクラブはポルトガル人指揮官の解任を決断した。

カストロ監督はポルトやリオ・アヴェ、シャヴェス、ヴィトーリアと母国ポルトガルの複数クラブの指揮官を歴任。2019年以降はウクライナのシャフタール・ドネツク、カタールのアル・ドゥハイル、ブラジルのボタフォゴを指揮していた。

お父さんの指示をスルー…握手をしなかった長男とC・ロナウドの親子のやり取りが話題「この後叱られたのかな?」

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚

驚異の身体能力持つC・ロナウドの垂直跳びの記録は?かつてはほぼ3mの高さからヘディングシュート
