若き日はクリスティアーノ・ロナウドと比べられる存在だったゲデス。パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)時代こそ輝き切れなかったが、2017年夏から5シーズンを過ごしたバレンシアでは力を発揮し、2021-22シーズンのラ・リーガでは11ゴールをマークした。
そこからウォルバーハンプトンでプレミアリーグに挑戦し、2023年1月から古巣ベンフィカにローン移籍。今季もウォルバーハンプトンからのローン契約で母国ポルトガルでプレーしているが、ここまで出場した公式戦14試合で2アシストにとどまっている。
古巣に戻ってからも悩めるゲデスだが、移籍市場に精通するファブリツィオ・ロマーノ記者によると、ビジャレアル行きが間近。アルゼンチン人FWベンハミン・ロールハイザー(23)の獲得が有力視されるベンフィカはローン契約の解消を決めたという。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
