アストン・ビラからカタールのアル・ドゥハイルにレンタル移籍していた元ブラジル代表MFフィリペ・コウチーニョ(31)だが、今冬に移籍先を変更する可能性があるようだ。スペイン『アス』が報じている。

2022年1月にバルセロナからアストン・ビラへレンタル移籍したコウチーニョは、同年7月に完全移籍。 昨シーズンはアストン・ビラでプレミアリーグ20試合に出場したが、シーズン後半戦から出場機会を失い、昨夏にアル・ドゥハイルへレンタル移籍。

コンスタントな出場機会を求めていたコウチーニョだったが、極東の地でもケガに悩まされるなど好況とは言えず、ここまでわずか公式戦9試合の出場にとどまっていた。
『アス』によれば、カタール移籍が失敗に終わったコウチーニョには、早期レンタルバックの可能性が浮上。しかし、ウナイ・エメリ監督は同選手の復帰を望んでおらず、冬の移籍市場で再び他クラブへレンタルに出されるとのこと。

なお、コウチーニョの移籍先としてはMLS(メジャーリーグ・サッカー)が有力視されており、特にFWリオネル・メッシやFWルイス・スアレスら元バルセロナの選手が多く在籍するインテル・マイアミや、DF吉田麻也やDF山根視来の在籍するロサンゼルス・ギャラクシーからの関心が噂されている。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
