すぐにシティの戦力となったドク

ベルギー代表FWジェレミー・ドクがマンチェスター・シティでのプレーについて語った。クラブ公式サイトが伝えている。

今夏スタッド・レンヌからシティへと移籍した21歳のドク。ポジションを争うライバルにはイングランド代表FWジャック・グリーリッシュらがいる中、シーズン序盤から存在感を発揮し、ここまで公式戦11試合に出場。3ゴール2アシストを記録している。

21日のプレミアリーグ第9節ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン戦でも先発出場したドクは、キレのあるドリブルで何度も左サイドを切り裂き、アルゼンチン代表FWフリアン・アルバレスの先制点をアシストしていた。そんなドクは、シティで新たに学んでいることが試合に活きて始めていると語っている。

「いつ行って、いつ行かなくていいのか、その瞬間が分かり始めている。(ブライトン戦では)うまくいったし、良いアシストも記録できた」

「枠を外れた何本かのシュートの中には、決められたものが2、3本あったかもしれない。それはこれからトレーニングで学んでいく」

「アシストには満足しているし、自分にとっては良い試合だった。これからも学び続けたいし、チームメイトとどうプレーしていくかを考えていきたい」

シティ移籍が決まってから早2カ月。ドクはマンチェスターで幸せな時間を送っていることも明かしている。

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
