なでしこジャパンのMF遠藤純(エンジェル・シティFC/アメリカ)が試合後のインタビューに応じ、ラストパスの精度に言及した。

23日、なでしこジャパンは国際親善試合でアルゼンチン女子代表と北九州スタジアムで対戦。これまでの[3-4-2-1]とは異なる新たな布陣、[4-3-3]を採用し、8-0と大勝を収めた。

開始2分に田中美南(INAC神戸レオネッサ)が口火を切ると、10分には長谷川唯(マンチェスター・シティ/イングランド)がPKを沈めてリードを広げる。25分にはCKの二次攻撃から高橋はな(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)、39分には再び長谷川がネットを揺らし、前半だけで4ゴールを奪取。後半には清家貴子(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)、杉田妃和(ポートランド・ソーンズFC/アメリカ)、植木理子(ウェストハム/イングランド)と得点を重ねると、終了間際に清家が芸術的なループを沈め、ゲームを締めくくった。
大半の時間が日本のボール支配だったこともあり、両サイドは総じて高い位置を取った。左サイドバックで先発し、71分まで出場した遠藤は「攻撃のときにはオーバーラップなどを意識していて、それが出せたのはすごく良かったと思います」と、手応えを口にする。

「特に左が上がろうというのはなかったですけど、自分の特徴だったり、(清水)梨紗さんの特徴だったり、全体の流れを通した中で自分が上がった方がいいと感じていたので、(南)萌華さんとか(宮澤)ひなたさんとか、近い選手を含めた話し合いの中で、自分がかなり高い位置を取ることにしました」
25分には正確なクロスで高橋のゴールをお膳立て。それでも、「最後決めさせるパスにもっとこだわっていけたらと」と、得点直結のラストパスへ一層の向上心を覗かせる。

「ワールドカップを通して出し手と受け手がかなり合ってきているのは、やりながら感じていますし、(それでもゴールを)決めさせるボールは少ないというか、まだまだなと感じているので、細かいところですけれど、合わせていきたいなと思います」

女子W杯史上最年少出場選手が遠藤純のチームメイトに!韓国の16歳FWがエンジェル・シティ加入

“狙い通り”の貴重な先制点を生んだFK、遠回りしながらも大一番で先発起用された北川ひかる「学びながら成長してきた」…被災した地元へも「元気を届けられていれば」

なでしこ遠藤純、ヒザ手術後のリハビリ姿公開 復帰への想い綴る「決して諦めません、戻るべき場所は1つしかない」

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで
