レアル・マドリーは19日、エスパニョールのスペイン代表FWホセル(33)を買い取りオプション付きのレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
スペイン『アス』によれば、マドリーは50万ユーロ(約7700万円)のレンタル料を支払い、買い取り時には150万ユーロ(約2億3000万円)を支払うことになるという。
ホセルはセルタの下部組織出身で、ファーストチーム昇格後にマドリー・カスティージャに加入。その後、セルタ、ホッフェンハイム、フランクフルト、ハノーファー、ストーク・シティ、デポルティボ・ラ・コルーニャ、ニューカッスル・ユナイテッド、アラベスと多くのクラブを渡り歩いた。
昨夏エスパニョールへと加入すると、今シーズンはラ・リーガで34試合に出場し16ゴール2アシスト。コパ・デル・レイでも4試合で1ゴール2アシストを記録。スペイン代表にも33歳で初招集され、4試合で3ゴールを記録するなど、現在乗っている選手の1人だ。
古巣に復帰したホセルは、20日にお披露目されることになるという。
