「いつの写真でしょうか?」ACLのクイズに当事者の元日本代表MFが正確に回答!「2007年10月24日21:30ぐらいじゃないかな」

AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)の公式ツイッターが1枚の写真を投稿。撮影日時の予想を求めると、これに当事者の1人が反応した。

ACLが「いつの写真でしょうか?」というコメントとともに投稿したのは、埼玉スタジアム2002で浦和レッズのイレブンが肩を組んで並んでいるシーンだ。

メンバーを見ると、長谷部誠(フランクフルト)や原口元気(シュツットガルト)、細貝萌(ザスパクサツ群馬)、永井雄一郎(KONOSU CITY FOOTBALL CLUB)といった現役選手に加え、阿部勇樹氏、坪井慶介氏、ワシントン氏、ポンテ氏、鈴木啓太氏という錚々たる面々が並んでいる。

ユニフォームを見ると2007年のようだが、ACLの呼びかけに対して「これは2007年10月24日21:30ぐらいじゃないかな」とほぼほぼピッタリの正解を出した人物がいた。

かなり正確にいい当てた人物だが、それもそのはずで、答えたのは写真にも写っている鈴木氏。この日の試合にも出場していた。

写真の試合は、城南一和天馬(現・城南FC)とのACL準決勝第2戦。第1戦ではアウェイで2-2と引き分けていた中、第2戦レグでも2-2となり、延長戦でも決着がつかずにいるとPK戦で都築龍太が相手の2人目をセーブ。対する浦和は5人全員が決めて死闘を制していた。

決勝に駒を進めた浦和は決勝でイランのセパハンを下し、初のACL制覇を成し遂げていた。

ACL2022でも決勝に進出している浦和。今回の対戦相手は2017年と2019年にもACL決勝で顔を合わせたアル・ヒラル(サウジアラビア)だが、再びACLのタイトルを手中に収められるだろうか。

なお、決勝はアル・ヒラルのホームで4月29日に第1戦、5月6日に埼玉スタジアム2002で第2戦が行われる。
