2011年に女子ワールドカップ(W杯)を制したメンバーの1人で、現在もなでしこジャパンでプレーする岩渕。アーセナルでプレーしていた中、出番が限られていたこともあり同じノースロンドンのトッテナムへとレンタル移籍している。

今シーズンのFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)では8試合で1アシストを記録。ただ、チーム状態は芳しくなく、9連敗の末にレハン・スキナー監督が13日に解任されていた。

そんな中、岩渕は3月18日にバースデー。30代の仲間入りを果たしたことをインスタグラムで報告した。

W杯を制したのは19歳の時。そして30歳で再び女子W杯を迎える。

「トッテナム」は禁止、「スパーズ」で…クラブが改めて通達、放送局からも「トッテナム」表記が消える
