2007年1月にフルミネンセからレアル・マドリーへと加入したマルセロ。攻撃的な左サイドバックとして2022年9月までプレー。公式戦546試合で38ゴール103アシストを記録した。
クラブ史上最多となる25個のタイトルも獲得したマルセロは、今シーズンからオリンピアコスでプレー。しかし、その新天地ではオーバーウェイトに細かな負傷離脱を繰り返した結果、公式戦10試合3ゴールという数字にとどまっていた。
18日、マルセロはクラブと合意し契約を解除。わずか5カ月で退団となっており、フリーになった。
そのマルセロに興味を持っているクラブは多く、ブラジルからもオファーがあった中、移籍に精通するジャーナリストのリュカ・ベンドーニ氏がアル・ナスルへの移籍が起こるとした。

一体なぜ?C・ロナウドが足の指の爪を黒く塗る

驚異の身体能力持つC・ロナウドの垂直跳びの記録は?かつてはほぼ3mの高さからヘディングシュート
