元ドイツ代表MFのバスティアン・シュバインシュタイガー氏が、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)で敗れたチームを酷評した。ドイツ『スカイ』が伝えている。

ドイツは23日に行われたカタールW杯グループE第1節で、日本代表と対戦した。下馬評で有利と見られていた相手に前半PKを決めて先制したものの、以降は再三のチャンスを得点に繋げられず。すると後半、布陣を変えた日本の反撃を受けて守備が崩れると、MF堂安律、FW浅野拓磨にゴールを許して2失点。その後はチームを立て直すことができず、そのまま1-2で敗れた。

まさかの黒星を喫したドイツに対しては、試合後に批判が殺到。ドイツ『ARD』に出演したシュバインシュタイガー氏も、2失点目のシーンでラインを乱しオフサイドをかけ損なうなど、ミスの目立ったDFニクラス・ジューレをこき下ろした。

「(2失点とも)本当に、本当に悪いプレーだった。ニクラス・ジューレはディフェンダーの選手だろう。だが、ジューレ自身はそう思っていなかったのか、同点を許すゴールへの道を自ら開けてしまった」

「再び9番が現れるには…」ケディラがドイツサッカーの現状を憂う「A代表は若手をテストする場じゃない」

元ドイツ代表MFサミ・ケディラ氏がドイツサッカー界の現状を憂いている。現役時代にレアル・マドリーやユベントスなどで活躍し、2014年にはドイツ代表として臨んだブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で優勝メンバーとなったケディラ氏。輝かしい時代のドイツを彩った大型ボランチは昨年9月に古巣シュツットガルトのアドバイザーに就任するも、今年6月に退任している。ここ最近はドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)が新たなスポーツ・ディレクター(SD)としてケディラ氏の招へいを画策しているとの報道が。ケディラ氏はドイツ『キッカー』のインタビューに応じ、話し合いをしていることは認めつつ、「何も合意はないし、候補者は私だけではないよ」と謙遜した。一方で、ドイツサッカー界の現状について危機感を抱いていると口に。ドイツ代表は男子が昨年のカタールW杯、女子が現在開催中のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯でグループステージ敗退の憂き目に遭っているが、ケディラ氏は育成年代に異変が起きたと考えているようだ。「ドイツサッカー界の危機は、主に青少年期の活動における長年の失策の結果だと思う。指導者から適切なトレーニングを受け、課題解決の優先順位を間違わなければ、最終的に大きな成果を得られるはずだ。最近のドイツ人選手は全員が均質で、同じタイプの選手しか出てきていないように思える」また、ドイツにとって積年の課題であるストライカー不足にも言及。ミロスラフ・クローゼ氏の引退以降、ドイツ代表にはトップクラスの点取り屋がおらず、ケディラ氏も「再び9番が現れるには数年かかるだろう」と語っている。ドイツ代表を率いるハンジ・フリック監督に対しては優れた選手ならベテランであっても招集すべきと訴え、A代表は実力でのし上がっていく舞台だと語気を強めた。「4～5年前、ドイツは若手に代表チームの経験を与えるという理念を掲げた。その結果は皆が知るところだが、それによってマッツ・フンメルス、トーマス・ミュラー、ジェローム・ボアテングといった選手たちが離れて行った」「若手が成長するためのスペースを作ったと言えば聞こえが良いが、私は致命的な兆候を感じていた。A代表はドイツの旗艦であり、最も優れた選手が呼ばれるべき舞台だ。若手をテストするのはA代表ではなくU-21だ」「これから親善試合で日本、フランス、アメリカ、メキシコと戦うね。幅広い個性と優れた人格を備えたチームを見つけることが重要となる。これらの試合を通じて光が差せば、再びドイツサッカー界に高揚感を取り戻せると確信しているよ。だが、繰り返すが、最も優れた選手が呼ばれないようなら、もはや絶望的だ」 2023.08.07 15:11 Mon

バルセロナが19歳の至宝ヴィルツに関心、代理人の父親と接触するも…

バルセロナがレバークーゼンのドイツ代表MFフロリアン・ヴィルツ(19)に関心を寄せているようだ。ドイツ『スカイ』が伝えている。 2019-20シーズンに史上3番目の若さとなる17歳15日でブンデスリーガデビューを果たした“ドイツの至宝”ヴィルツ。昨年3月の大ケガからは長期離脱を強いられたが、今年1月の復帰後は公式戦13試合で2得点6アシストを記録しており、すでに完全復活した印象がある。ビッグクラブ行きの噂は負傷前からあったなか、最近はバイエルンからの関心がたびたび報じられる。しかし、フロリアン・プレッテンバーグ記者によれば、推定市場価値6300万ユーロ(約88億5000万円)のヴィルツはバイエルンにとって高すぎる選手だという。一方、ヴィルツにはバルセロナも関心を寄せ、代理人を務める父親に電話で接触。だが、父親は今年初めにドイツ『キッカー』のインタビューで「息子はレバークーゼンと良好な関係を保っている。2024年のユーロまでは残るだろう」と語っていた。そのため、少なくとも来季まではレバークーゼン残留が確実。バルセロナも深刻な財政難を解消できない限りは獲得の望みが薄いと考えられている。 2023.03.21 16:00 Tue
