マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのFWアントニーが、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のメンバー入りを喜んだ。7日、ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)はカタールW杯メンバー26名を発表した。
リバプールのFWロベルト・フィルミノや負傷したアストン・ビラのMFフィリペ・コウチーニョらが外れた一方で、順当に選出。そして、アントニーも26名に入り込んだ。
アントニーはサンパウロから2020年7月にアヤックスへ移籍。エリク・テン・ハグ監督の下で飛躍すると、今シーズンからユナイテッドに完全移籍。デビュー戦でゴールを記録していた。
2021年10月にブラジル代表デビューを果たしており、11試合2ゴール。デビューから1年でW杯行きとなった。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?
