スターリング獲得のチェルシー、C・ロナウドから撤退

チェルシーはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(37)を獲得しないようだ。

チェルシーでは今夏にベルギー代表FWロメル・ルカクが退団。今夏にユナイテッドからの移籍を目指しているとされ、プレシーズンにいまだ家族の事情を理由に合流していないC・ロナウドでそれを補填しようとする報道が浮上している。

チェルシーの新たな会長であるトッド・ベーリー氏も先月にポルトガルでC・ロナウドの代理人を務めるジョルジュ・メンデス氏と接触を図ったが、イギリス『The Athletic』によると、どうやら獲得への乗り出しを見送った模様だ。
チェルシーはつい先日、マンチェスター・シティからイングランド代表FWラヒーム・スターリングを獲得。純粋な点取り屋ではないが、前線でプレーできる駒が揃っているため、ストライカー獲得の優先度が低くなっているようだ。

逆に、今後はナポリからセネガル代表DFカリドゥ・クリバリの獲得に迫っている通り、ドイツ代表DFアントニオ・リュディガーやデンマーク代表DFアンドレアス・クリステンセンが抜けた守備陣の強化を優先事項に挙げているという。
なお、イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』によると、トーマス・トゥヘル監督はスターリングに続くアタッカーの獲得について「否定しないが、優先順位は低い。優先すべきは守備陣であり、それを隠すつもりもない」と話しているようだ。

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚

ブリッジは“不倫男”テリーを未だに許さず? 自身の近くに引っ越し発覚後、自宅を売却に出す

8歳から親友コンビのライス&マウントが代表でゴール共演! 「同じ試合でゴールを決められるなんて…」

ウェストハムMFデクラン・ライスとチェルシーMFメイソン・マウントの親友コンビが憧れのスリーライオンズで夢のようなゴール共演を果たした。 イングランド代表は18日、UEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21リーグA・グループ2最終節でアイスランド代表と対戦し、4-0で快勝した。 そして、同試合では前半の20分にMFフィル・フォーデンのFKに頭で合わせたライスが待望の代表初ゴールを挙げると、その4分後にはセットプレーの二次攻撃からマウントが代表通算3ゴール目を奪取。主役の座は2ゴール1アシストのフォーデンに譲ることになったが、ライスとマウントの2人にとっては子供の頃の夢を叶えた最高の試合となった。 共にロンドン生まれ、チェルシーのアカデミー育ちの両選手は8歳の頃からの親友で、14歳の時にライスが放出の憂き目に遭った際にはマウントの母親が涙を流すなど、家族ぐるみの付き合いをしてきた。 その後、マウントが順調にチェルシーで活躍を続ける一方、ライスは新天地ウェストハムでブレイクを果たし、両者はプレミアリーグでは良きライバル、イングランド代表では中盤の相棒として切磋琢磨を続けている。 そして、このアイスランド戦ではついに同じ試合でゴールを挙げるという、まるで夢のような瞬間を共有することになった。 同試合後、殊勲のライスとマウントはイギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』のポストマッチインタビューで、ゴール共演を振り返っている。 まずはライスが、「中盤で一緒にプレーできることを知った時、それ自体が特別な瞬間だったよ。さらに、同じ試合でゴールを決められるなんて信じられないことだよ」と、素直な感動を伝えた。 一方、マウントは親友とのゴール共演を喜びながらも、新型コロナウィルスの影響により、無観客開催が続く中、相棒と自身を支えてきた互いの家族がスタジアムで同じ喜びを共有できなかったことを残念に感じている。 「もしもファンの入場が許可されていれば、彼ら(両家族)は一緒に見守ってくれていたはずさ。彼らは僕がデビューした時も一緒にいたし、デク(ライス)と初めて一緒にプレーした時もね。僕らは彼らと共に特別な思い出を共有してきたからね」 「僕らは小さい頃から親友だし、これからもより多くの素晴らしい思い出を作っていけたら最高だね」 なお、ハマーズで守備的MFとセンターバックで印象的な活躍を続けるライスにはフランク・ランパード監督が以前から熱視線を注いでおり、今冬、あるいは来夏にはチェルシーでの親友コンビの共演も期待されている。 2020.11.19 18:05 Thu
