サンパオリ電撃退任のマルセイユがトゥドール氏の新監督就任を発表!

マルセイユは4日、新指揮官にイゴール・トゥドール氏(44)を招へいした。契約期間は2024年6月30日までとなる。

昨年2月に就任したホルヘ・サンパオリ監督(62)の下で迎えた2021-22シーズンを2位で終えたマルセイユ。当然、2023年まで契約を残すサンパオリ監督の続投が既定路線となっていたが、補強について上層部との間で意見の相違があったとして1日に電撃退任が発表されていた。

マルセイユの新指揮官に就任したトゥドール氏は、これまでハイドゥク・スプリト、ガラタサライ、ウディネーゼなどの指揮官を歴任。2020-21シーズンまでユベントスでアンドレア・ピルロ監督の副官を務めていた。

そして2021年9月、3連敗スタートとなったエウゼビオ・ディ・フランチェスコ前監督の解任を受け、新指揮官に就任したヴェローナでは、14勝11分け10敗の戦績を残し、最終的にはセリエAで9位フィニッシュと上々の成績を収めた。しかし、シーズン終了後の首脳陣との話し合いの中で齟齬が生まれ、契約解消となっていた。
