「準備が整えばすぐにでも…」フリックが独監督就任間近を示唆

今季限りでバイエルンを去るハンジ・フリック監督(56)のドイツ代表監督就任が近く公式化されそうだ。ドイツ『Sport Bild』が報じている。

フリック監督は2019年夏にアシスタントコーチとしてバイエルン入りするが、同年11月初旬にニコ・コバチ前監督が退任したため、そこからチームを指揮。当初こそ暫定監督としての指揮だったが、立て直しの手腕が評価され、中旬に正式就任した。

その就任初年度からチームをブンデスリーガ8連覇に導くと、DFBポカールのタイトルのみならず、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)も制して3冠を達成。今季はリーグ9連覇を成し遂げたが、先月に自身の意向が通る形でシーズン終了後の退任が決定した。

最近になり、まことしやかにバルセロナも新天地候補に浮上するフリック監督だが、有力視されてきたとおり、ヨアヒム・レーブ監督がユーロ2020を最後に退任するドイツ代表指揮官に就任するようだ。

フリック監督は23日に本拠地で行われる最終節のアウグスブルク戦に先駆けた会見で、ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)との協議を認め、近々の発表を示唆した。

「明らかなのは私がDFBと話をしたということ。私の代表チームに対する思いは誰もが知るところだ。しかし、物事は幾度もの微調整が必要だというのも事実。細かな部分が大事なのだ。すべての準備が整えば、すぐにでも発表されるだろう」

29歳で引退した元W杯王者の転身が話題!ほぼ裸で雪山に登頂、自分の人生を見直すきっかけに
