イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は16日、リバプールのMFジョーダン・ヘンダーソンとマンチェスター・シティのFWラヒーム・スターリングがイングランド代表から離脱したことを発表した。イングランド代表は、15日にUEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21でベルギー代表と対戦。試合は2-0で敗れていた。

この試合に先発出場したヘンダーソンはハーフタイムで交代。試合後の会見でガレス・サウスゲイト監督が「筋肉の張りがあり、プレーを続けることができないと感じた」と説明していた。なお、スターリングはメンバー外だった。
FAによると、ヘンダーソンとスターリングは詳しい検査を受けるためにそれぞれクラブへ戻ったとのこと。18日に予定されているアイスランド代表戦のメンバーから外れることとなった

不振続くリバプールにシアラーが助言「新戦力起用でヘンダーソンを中盤に戻すべき」

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

「可愛い!」ペガサスに乗って宙を舞うイングランド代表FWサカの衝撃写真が話題沸騰「この男を愛さないわけにはいかない」
