マンチェスター・シティが、セビージャのU-21フランス代表DFジュール・クンデ(21)に関心を示しているようだ。スペイン『エル・デスマルケ』が伝えた。

フランス代表DFアイメリク・ラポルテの相棒探しに尽力する今夏のシティ。すでにボーンマスからオランダ代表DFナタン・アケを獲得しているが、さらなる補強が取り沙汰されている。

その筆頭候補となっているのがナポリのセネガル代表DFカリドゥ・クリバリ(29)だが、相手側が移籍金に7600万ユーロ(約94億5000万円)以上要求していることから交渉は平行線を辿っているとみられている。その代替案として、セビージャのブラジル人DFジエゴ・カルロス(27)やアトレティコ・マドリーのウルグアイ代表DFホセ・ヒメネス(25)の名前が挙がっているが、クンデもそのひとりだ。
シティはクンデ獲得に向けて、5000万ユーロ～5500万ユーロ(約62億円～約68億円)の移籍金にアルゼンチン代表DFニコラス・オタメンディの譲渡を含めたオファーを提案。オタメンディの市場価値を考えると、クンデの契約解除金9000万ユーロ(約111億4000万円)に匹敵する条件となるが、スカッド強化を図るセビージャは現金のみを要求していると言われている。

昨夏にボルドーからセビージャに加入したクンデは、快足を生かした守備範囲の広さと優れたタックル技術が武器のセンターバック。昨季は公式戦40試合に出場して、クラブのヨーロッパリーグ制覇に貢献していた。

クラブの怠慢が自殺の要因に? シティが退団する若手への適切なサポートをしなかったと遺族が主張

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂

シティDFラポルテが同僚の“タトゥー” を品定め、エデルソンは「多いけど、かっこよくはない」
