モドリッチ&ラキティッチが代表不参加、9月にUNL王者ポルトガル&W杯王者フランスと対戦

クロアチアサッカー連盟(HNS)は27日、UEFAネーションズリーグに臨むクロアチア代表から、レアル・マドリーのMFルカ・モドリッチとMFイバン・ラキティッチが外れることを発表した。

クロアチア代表は、9月5日に前年王者のポルトガル代表と、同8日にワールドカップ王者のフランス代表とUEFAネーションズリーグで対戦する。

17日に発表されていたメンバーから、キャプテンのモドリッチと副キャプテンのラキティッチが外れることに。両選手は、ズラトコ・ダリッチ監督と合意し、今回の代表活動を免除されたようだ。
また、ヴォルフスブルクのDFマリン・ポングラチッチは病気のため辞退となった。

なお、代役としてFWアントニオ=ミルコ・チョラク(リエカ)、FWアンテ・ブディミル(マジョルカ)、DFミレ・シュコリッチ(オシエク)が招集されることとなった。
さらに、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝に出場したバイエルンのMFイバン・ペリシッチとヨーロッパリーグ(EL)決勝に進出したインテルのMFマルセル・ブロゾビッチに関しては、2日間の休養を追加で与えることが決定。31日に集合するチームには合流せず、9月2日に合流することが許可された。

2011～2020年の世界ベストイレブンが発表!イニエスタとともに中盤に入ったのは相棒チャビではなく…
