リバプールDFフィルジル・ファン・ダイクは、レアル・マドリーDFセルヒオ・ラモスが「世界最高のセンターバックではない」との見解を示した。

母国オランダの『テレグラーフ』とのインタビューに応じたファン・ダイクは、S・ラモスが自身にとっては理想的なセンターバックではないとの考えを述べている。

「ラモスは世界最高のセンターバックじゃないよ。偉大な選手だし、これまで勝ち取ってきたことには敬意を示す。でも僕のタイプじゃないんだよ。自分のお気に入りはラファエル・ヴァランだ。極上のDFで、若くして多くを勝ち取っている」

ファン・ダイクはまた、自身がS・ラモスのようにアグレッシブな守備を見せるCBではないことを強調した。

「僕はS・ラモスのような守備のやり方はしない。それだけではなく、彼が関わるような状況は避けていきたいと思っている」

S・ラモスは昨季チャンピオンズリーグ決勝で、FWモハメド・サラーの肩を脱臼させたとして大きな批判を浴びせられた。ファン・ダイクはその件について、こう振り返っている。

「彼に(サラーを負傷させる)意図があったのかはわからない。でもレアル・マドリーのメンタルが、あのことを境に変化したのは間違いない。マルセロ、ベンゼマ、ロナウドが、いきなり僕たちの若いサイドバック、アレクサンダー=アーノルドの側を攻め立てるようになった。サラーがいれば、ああしたことはしなかっただろうね」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

2人のマク・アリスターがELで実現した兄弟対決を振り返る、兄「苦しんだのは弟のせい」弟「家族にとって特別なもの」

たった1人でスーパーゴール4連発!スアレスが10年前に与えた衝撃に再脚光「忘れられない」「最強のストライカーだった」
