J1優勝7回、鹿島一筋23年のGK曽ヶ端準が現役引退「すべてが財産」

鹿島アントラーズは24日、GK曽ヶ端準(41)が現役を引退することを発表した。 鹿島ユース出身の曽ヶ端は、1998年にトップチームに昇格。小笠原満男、中田浩二、本山雅志らと同期入団だった曽ヶ端だが、当初は出場機会を得られなかった。 しかし、2001年に正守護神のGK高桑大二朗に代わってレギュラーの座を奪うと、2017年まで正守護神の座を守り、2008年2014年までの7シーズンはフル出場を果たしていた。 鹿島一筋で23シーズンプレーし、J1リーグでは歴代第5位となる通算533試合に出場。リーグカップ通算83試合、天皇杯通算66試合に出場。AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)では通算41試合、FIFAクラブワールドカップ通算5試合に出場していた。 クラブとしての獲得タイトルはJ1で7回(1998、2000、2001、2007、2008、2009、2016)、リーグカップで5回(2000、2002、2011、2012、2015)、天皇杯で4回(2000、2007、2010、2016)優勝。ACLでも2018年に優勝を経験していた。 個人タイトルでも2001年にヤマザキナビスコカップでニューヒーロー賞を受賞。2002年にはベストイレブン、2003年にはフェアプレー個人賞を受賞していた。 また、日本代表としても4試合に出場。2002年の日韓ワールドカップのメンバー入りした他、2004年のアテネ・オリンピックにもオーバーエイジ枠として出場していた。 曽ヶ端はクラブを通じてコメントしている。 「今シーズン限りで、現役生活を終えることを決めました。僕は鹿嶋で生まれ育ち、このまちに鹿島アントラーズが誕生し、始まりは1人のサポーターでした。それがユースに入り、プロになり、1つのクラブでここまで長くプレーできるとは想像もしていませんでした」 「鹿島アントラーズで獲得した数多くのタイトル、ともに戦った監督、選手、スタッフ、フロント、パートナー、自分と関わってくれた指導者、いつも支えてくれた両親、兄、妻、子どもたち、そしてファン・サポーターの方々、すべてが財産です。このクラブで勝利のためにプレーし、引退できることを、心から嬉しく思います。23年間、ありがとうございました!」 2020.12.24 15:24 Thu

鈴木優磨が“金髪”にする理由を告白

【引退会見②】鹿島同期入団の曽ヶ端準&本山雅志、同級生の小野伸二や稲本潤一について小笠原満男「最初から最後まで勝てなかった偉大な選手」

▽28日、2018シーズン限りで現役引退を発表した鹿島アントラーズの元日本代表MF小笠原満男(39)の引退会見が行われた。 ▽1998年に大船渡高校から鹿島に入団した小笠原は、1年目にJリーグデビューを果たすと、2年目、3年目と出場機会を増やしその後はレギュラーとしてプレーした。 ▽引退会見には、多くの報道陣が駆けつけ、小笠原は長年プレーした本拠地の県立カシマサッカースタジアムで、共に戦って来た同期の選手への思いを語った。 ◆MF小笠原満男(鹿島アントラーズ) ──日本代表としても活躍をされましたが、代表での思い出は 「代表については色々な思い出がありますが、あまり過去を振り返るのが好きではないですが、一番思い出があるのは、ワールドユースで準優勝した時のことです。自分がここまでサッカー選手としてやって来た時に色々な影響を受けたのは、同級生のライバルです」 「アントラーズに入団した時もそうですが、中田(浩二)、本山(雅志)、曽ヶ端(準)、他2名もいますが、一緒に入団して、やれたことが自分の財産になりました。ワールドユースの時も色々な素晴らしい選手がいましたし、そういった人たちがいたからここまでやってこれたと思います」 「自分はサッカー選手は辞めますが、同級生の曽ヶ端、本山、あとは他チームですが小野伸二、稲本(潤一)にはまだまだ頑張ってもらいたいです。最後まで敵わない素晴らしい選手たちだったと思いますので、まだまだ頑張ってもらいたいです」 「(彼らより先に辞めるというのは悔しいか?)いや、自分の完敗です。なので、最初から最後まで勝てなかったなという偉大な選手たちです」 ──曽ヶ端選手や中田浩二さんからはどういった言葉がかけられたか 「あまり仲間の話をこういった場でするのが適切か分からないので、細かくは話したくはないですけど、自分の気持ちとしては本山、曽ヶ端には頑張って欲しいと伝えました」 2018.12.28 18:11 Fri
