▽ゴメスはこれまでドイツ代表として通算78試合に出場。31得点をマーク。2度のワールドカップ出場(2010と2018)、3度のユーロ出場(2008、2012、2016)を果たした。

▽ドイツ代表を引退したゴメスのコメントは以下の通り。
｢僕の代表としてのキャリアは、決して順風満帆というわけではなかった。それでも素晴らしいものだったと振り返ることができるよ。ただ今は去る時が来たということ。たくさんの若く、才能をもった選手たちにチャンスを与えるということだ。彼らの夢が叶い、そして実現し、経験を蓄積し、ドイツ代表ために最高の結果を手にするために｣

「現場も凄くワクワクしている」レッドブルの一員になった大宮、原博実フットボール本部長が抱く期待「ブレずに一緒にやっていけると面白い」

6日、「レッドブル・大宮アルディージャ クラブプロパティ発表 特別イベント」が東京都内で開催され、大宮アルディージャの新たなチーム名やエンブレムが発表された。 2024年8月6日、エナジードリンクでお馴染みの「レッドブル・ゲーエムベーハー(Red Bull GmbH)」が、大宮アルディージャおよび大宮アルディージャVENTUSを運営するエヌ・ティ・ティ・スポーツコミュニティ株式会社が発行する全株式(100%)の取得を発表した。手続きを終え、10月1日からRB大宮株式会社としてスタート。チームは明治安田J3リーグを戦っていた中、1年でのJ2昇格を果たすとともに、J3優勝も決めていた。 新たな一歩を踏み出した大宮は、6日に新チーム名が「RB大宮アルディージャ(アールビーオオミヤアルディージャ)」に決定。新たなエンブレムも発表され、新たな一歩を踏み出すこととなった。 イベントに出席したRB大宮株式会社の代表取締役兼フットボール本部長の原博実氏が、新たなエンブレムやチーム名について「今までの大宮を大切にしてもらって、その上に新しい大宮、新しいクラブ、これからまさに強くなっていきそうな印象を受けます」とコメント。「アグレッシブなレッドブルのサッカースタイルというか、そういったものを印象付けるようなものになっているかなと思います」と、レッドブルの一員になったことを実感するとした。 今シーズンはJ3を戦うなど、低迷が続いた大宮を建て直すためにチームに加わった原氏だが、8月の買収決定からは目まぐるしく動いていったと振り返った。 「8月に発表があり、実際には9月から各セクション、アナリストや育成担当、データなど多くの人が来ています。我々の担当レベルで打ち合わせをしていて、「こうやれ」、「こうしてほしい」ということではなく、今の大宮がどういうやり方をして、どういう状況かを知りたいということで、担当者レベルで細かい打ち合わせをしています」 「大宮の現状を知る、各担当レベルでコミュニケーションをとって信頼関係を築くというのを、9月、10月とやっていて、彼らのノウハウには我々にないものも凄くたくさんありますが、ちょっと質問すると、「この選手はこう思う」というと、様々なデータを持っていて「こういった部分もある」と凄くサポートしてくれています。現場のコーチ陣も凄くワクワクしているというのが現状です」 既にレッドブルグループに入ったことを現場でも実感しているという原氏。オリバー・ミンツラフCEOやマリオ・ゴメスTD(テニクカル・ディレクター)らが選手たちとも既に交流をしているとし、今後の成長・発展への期待もあると語った。 「昨日もオリバーとマリオがグラウンドに来たんですが、VENTUSの練習をやっていたので3人で見ていました。『もっと女子も強化したいね』という話もしています。また、志木に育成のグラウンドがあるんですが、そこも細部まで見て、『もっとこういうものが必要じゃないか』とか、『ここはどうやっているんだ』というのを、物凄いパワーで来てくれたので、コーチ陣もワクワクしています」 トップチームだけでなく、女子チーム、アカデミーまでしっかりとレッドブルの下で成長していく画が見えている状況。「マリオも日本に来るという話でしたが、我々のスタッフもタイミングを見て現地に行くという話も出ていて、彼らがどうやっているのか。練習場を見たりとか」と、大宮からもグループの他クラブなどへ視察に行く可能性もあると語った。 また「我々のトップチームのミーティングにも参加したいと言われて、どうしようかなと思っていたんですが、監督と選手の了解を得て出てもらいました。その様子を見て、我々はこう思うとか、相手の分析を見た時に、『必要であれば我々も違う角度で分析できるよ』と言ってくれていて、世界レベルでどうやっているのかを身近に見れています」と、今までにチームにはなかった視点でのアドバイスも受けられる状況であり、来シーズン以降の更なる刺激も期待できそうだ。 選手たちににとってもヨーロッパへの門戸が開かれている状況となり、指導者にとっても世界が広がる今回の買収劇。原氏は共に強化していきたいと語った。 「プレーイングフィロソフィーがハッキリしています。アグレッシブに、自分たちが待っているのではなく、前からアグレッシブにいくということもハッキリしています」 「彼らがそうしたビデオを作ってくれて、我々も見たんですが、その中に今年の大宮の良いシーンを入れてくれていて、一員になったなという感じがみんなしています」 「監督がこういう選手が好きというよりも、こういうサッカーをするためにどういう指導者、どういう選手を集めたら良いかもハッキリしています。それを一緒に協力しながら、ブレずに一緒にやっていけると面白いかなと思っています」 これまでも大宮を見守ってきた原氏。改めて、ファン・サポーターへ大宮の進んでいく方向へ期待してほしいと語った。 「いつも応援ありがとうございます。新しいエンブレムができて、色々な思いはあると思いますが、一歩一歩皆さんと一緒になって進んでいって、浦和レッズと試合をしたりということもありますし、Jリーグの中で強いチャンピオンになって、アジアに出ていけるようなクラブになれればと思います」 「このクラブから良い選手、指導者、フロントが育つクラブにしていければと思います。今後ともよろしくお願いいたします」 2024.11.06 19:15 Wed

Jリーグが誕生した93年ならともかく、近年これだけド派手な新体制発表会見(2025 RB大宮アルディージャキックオフイベント)を取材したことはなかった。1月9日に大宮のソニックシティ展示場で行われた会見だ。 メインイベントの前には隣接する屋外広場のステージで、BMXフラットランドライダーの早川起生によるスペシャルパフォーマンスが行われ、招待されたファン・サポーターには無料でエナジードリンクのレッドブルが配布された(メイン会場ではメディアにも無料で配布されたが、あっという間になくなったのは言うまでもない)。 そしてメインイベントのオープニングセレモニーでは、豪華なステージ上でレッドブルのアスリートでフリースタイルフットボーラーとして活躍するYu-riこと、伊豆悠里が華麗なボールパフォーマンスを披露。ファン・サポーターから盛大な拍手が送られた。 最初に挨拶に立ったフィリップ・ヴンダーリッヒRB日本コマーシャル・ダイレクターは、「記念すべき日を埼玉、大宮で迎えられてうれしい。レッドブルのグローバルネットワークを届けていきたい。大宮はそれに値する街だと思う。なぜなら大宮には素晴らしいサッカー文化がある」と“サッカーの街”大宮を強調した。 続いて原博実代表取締役社長兼ヘッドオブスポーツは「ザルツブルク、ミュンヘン、ライプチヒへ行きました。施設がどれも素晴らしく、レッドブルグループに入れてよかった」と、Jリーグ初となる100パーセント外資系企業によるクラブ経営を歓迎した。 主力選手がモデルになっての新ユニホームのお目見えでは、これまでのオレンジをベースにした配色から、袖口のネイビーをメインカラーに変更し、胸には2頭の雄牛が後ろ脚で立って突進するレッドブル社のロゴがデカデカと配された。かなり迫力のあるユニホームだ。これまでのユニホームには胸のエンブレムにリスのマスコットがいただけに、どこかにアルディとミーヤを残して欲しいと思ったものの、残念ながら今後の活躍はピッチ上に限られそうだ。 そして新加入選手である。1月23日現在、新たな新外国人選手は横浜FCから加入するFWカブリーニとCBガブリエウの2人だけ。補強の目玉は京都から獲得したFW豊川雄太ということになりそうだ。豊川は岡山や京都で長澤徹監督の指導を受けただけに、戦術の理解は早いだろう。 ヨーロッパをベースにブラジルやアメリカのチームを傘下に収めるレッドブル社だけに、大物外国人の獲得を期待したファン・サポーターも多かったかもしれない。しかし昨年10月に来日したレッドブルサッカーのテクニカルダイレクター、マリオ・ゴメスは大宮の持つポテンシャルを認めつつ、日本サッカーへのリスペクトを語るにとどめている(同氏はシュツットガルト時代に遠藤航と浅野拓磨とプレー)。 恐らく、いきなり現場に介入しては不信と混乱を招くと判断したのだろう。現場は現体制に任せつつ、シーズンの推移を見守ろうといてしているのかもしれない。ただ大がかりなイベントも含めて随所にレッドブル社の意向が反映されていたのは確かだろう。 最後に新シーズンについて長澤監督はファン・サポーターに対し、「26-27年でシーズンが変わります(春秋制に移行)。その時にデビジョン1で戦うためのシーズンです。最終的に信じてもらえるチームにしたい」と抱負を語りつつ、「2つの約束をしたい」と述べた。 その2つとは「1節から38節まで、すべて襲いかかります。信じるに値するチームを作りたい」と決意を表明した。実直な長澤監督だけに、発言の後半部分は頷けた。引っ掛かったのは「すべて襲いかかります」という発言だ。大言壮語はしない長澤監督にしては過激に感じたのだ。 一緒に取材した記者も「襲いかかるなんて、まるでレッドブルのロゴマークを意識したかのようですね」と驚いていた。長澤監督に、意図的にそこまで言わせたとしたら、“レッドブル恐るべし”と感じたキックオフイベントだった。 2025.01.23 22:00 Thu

18歳の若さでこの世を去ったバラック氏の次男に、パートナーが哀悼のメッセージ

ミヒャエル・バラック氏に悲劇…18歳の次男エミリオが交通事故で急逝…

かつてバイエルンやチェルシー、レバークーゼンで活躍した元ドイツ代表MFのミヒャエル・バラック氏(44)の次男であるエミリオ・バラック(18)が四輪バイクの事故で逝去したことがわかった。イギリス『ミラー』がポルトガルメディアのレポートを引用して伝えている。 ポルトガル『TVI24』によると、今回の事故は現地時間の5日午前2時にバラック氏が数年前にリスボン南西のトロイアに購入した家の近くで発生したという。 現時点で事故の詳細は不明だが、エミリオは事故当時にクアッドバイクの車両から消防士によって救出され、その後に死亡が確認されたようだ。 2002年に生まれたエミリオはバラック氏が前妻のシモーネ・ラム(45)との間に設けた3人の息子の内の一人で、兄弟には1歳違いの兄であるルイ、4歳下の弟であるジョルディがいた。 バラック氏は以前から自身の公式SNSを通じて、エミリオとの仲の良い様子を発信しており、愛息のあまりに早過ぎる死に悲嘆に暮れているはずだ。 2021.08.05 21:56 Thu
