▽フランス代表としてロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)を制したMFエンゴロ・カンテだが、そのシャイすぎる性格が話題となっている。イギリス『メトロ』が伝えた。

▽15日に閉幕したロシアW杯。初戦から圧倒的な強さを見せたフランス代表が決勝でもクロアチアを4-2で破り、5大会ぶり2度目の優勝を果たした。

▽チームが優勝トロフィーを掲げる中、ひとり中々トロフィーに触れられずにいたのがカンテだ。そのシャイすぎる性格からか、自分からトロフィーを持つことを躊躇っていたようだ。それを見かねたMFスティーブン・エンゾンジがカンテにトロフィーをアシスト。受け取ったカンテはカメラマンの前でポーズをとり、ようやくトロフィーを掲げることが出来た模様だ。
▽性格がシャイなのは仕方ないが、カンテは今大会全試合に出場した優勝の立役者の1人。もう少し胸を張っても誰も文句は言わないはずだ。『メトロ』によれば、フランスの指揮官ディディエ・デシャンは、メンバーを決める際に一番初めにカンテの名前をチームシートに記入したという。

プレミアリーグ、ラマダン期間の開催試合で“飲水・栄養摂取タイム”の導入か

マテラッツィ、ジダンとの“頭突き事件”を引き起こした侮辱発言の真相を明かす

▽現役時代にインテルなどで活躍した元イタリア代表DFマルコ・マテラッツィ氏が、2006年ドイツ・ワールドカップ(W杯)決勝で起こした元フランス代表MFジネディーヌ・ジダン氏との“頭突き事件”で、自身が発した侮辱発言の真相を明かした。同氏がフランス『レキップ』のインタビューで語った。 ▽ジダン頭突き事件は、2006年7月9日にベルリン・オリンピアシュタディオンで行われたドイツW杯決勝のイタリア代表VSフランス代表の延長戦で起きた。それ以前から何度かジダン氏とマッチアップしていたマテラッツィ氏は、延長後半5分にジダン氏に対して、幾度か声をかけると、この挑発にのったジダン氏は無言のまま、マテラッツィ氏の胸に頭突きを見舞い、この暴力行為によってレッドカードを掲示され、自身の現役ラストマッチを退場という形で終えることになった。 ▽マテラッツィ氏は、同事件からちょうど10年目を迎える前日の8日にジダン氏の母国フランスのメディア『レキップ』で、ジダン氏に向けて言い放った侮辱発言の真相を明かしている。 「以前から多くの人々に、ジダンにあのような行為(頭突き)をさせた自分の発言内容について聞かれ続けてきた。だから、私はそのことに関して本を出版することを決めた」 「多くの新聞が推測したように、私は彼の母親についてではなく、彼の姉について言及した。私は15歳の頃に自分の母親を亡くしている。だから、彼の母親を侮辱するほど下劣な人間ではないんだ」 「また、私はあの事件がなぜこれほどの騒ぎとなったのか、未だに理解できないんだ。私があの日に関して覚えているのは、自分が決めたゴールだけだ」 「時々、イタリアでは街中でファンと遭遇することがあるけど、彼らは“マルコ、あいつ(ジダン)から頭突きを受けるなんてうまくやったな”と声をかけてくるんだ。ただ、僕は頭突きされた側だから、少し腹立たしい気持ちになる。それはこの事件の奇妙な部分でもある。ただ、個人的には大したことだと思っていないし、あの行為に怒ってもいないんだ」 ▽なおマテラッツィ氏は、ジダン頭突き事件後にイタリア国内のテレビ番組でこの侮辱発言に関して、「お前の姉貴より娼婦のほうがましだ」と発言していたことを認めていた。 2016.07.09 14:47 Sat
