“メッシロナウド時代”の終焉か…ともに決勝T1回戦でW杯優勝の夢破れる

長きにわたってサッカー界をけん引してきた2人のスター、リオネル・メッシとクリスティアーノ・ロナウドの時代が終わりつつある。そう印象づけるロシア・ワールドカップ決勝トーナメント1回戦の一日目となった。

悲願のタイトルに向け、先に戦ったのはメッシ。クラブレベルではありとあらゆるタイトルを獲得し、バロンドールなど個人賞も取り尽くした。しかし、アルゼンチン代表ではたびたび「チームを勝利に導けない」と批判を浴び、母国の英雄であるディエゴ・マラドーナと比較されては下に見られてきた。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで
