▽セビージャに所属するFWウィサム・ベン・イェデルがフランス人史上初のフットサルとサッカーの双方での代表選手となった。イギリス『101GREAT GOALS』が伝えた。

▽先日にサッカーフランス代表に初招集されたイェデルは、23日に行われたコロンビア代表戦で後半に途中投入され、27歳で待望のレ・ブルーデビューを果たした。

▽しかし、イェデルがレ・ブルーとしてプレーしたのはこれが初めてではなく、2010年にフットサルフランス代表として2試合に出場し1ゴールを記録していた。

▽ブラジル代表FWネイマールや同MFフィリペ・コウチーニョなどを筆頭にブラジルなど南米では11人制のサッカーを始める前の幼少期にフットサルを通じて、足元の細かい技術などを習得するケースが多い。

▽ただ、幼馴染であるレスター・シティのアルジェリア代表MFリヤド・マフレズ同様に10代の頃にフランス下部リーグでのプレーを余儀なくされたイェデルは、サッカー選手としてのキャリアに行き詰っていた時期にフットサルフランス代表としてプレー。その後、トゥールズ移籍をキッカケにブレイクを果たし、現在はセビージャで印象的なプレーを披露している。

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
