▽ドイツ代表MFレオン・ゴレツカが、コンフェデレーションズカップ2017決勝進出に喜びを示している。国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)公式サイトが伝えた。

▽ドイツは29日に行われた準決勝でメキシコ代表と対戦した。試合は開始早々の6分にゴレツカのゴールでドイツが先制すると8分にもゴレツカがネットを揺らす。そのまま前半を終えると1点ずつを奪い合って迎えた90分にはユネスが掴点を奪い、ドイツが4-1と快勝して決勝進出を決めた。

▽2ゴールを奪い、決勝進出に大きく貢献したゴレツカは試合後のインタビューで次のように語った。

「何よりも重要なことはチームの勝利であり、そういう意味では今日はスタートから良い入りができたね。前回の試合(カメルーン戦)はあまり良くなかったから、その反省を活かして立ち上がりからうまく入れた」

「(決勝で対戦する)チリとはグループステージでも対戦し、決着がついていないね。僕らの目標は、まず最初に決勝に勝ち進むこと。それが達成できたことを嬉しく思っている。あとは、タイトルの獲得を目指して、ここまで見せてきた僕らのパフォーマンスから最高の栄誉を得たいと思っているよ」

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue
