2日に行われたスコティッシュ・プレミアシップ第22節のセルティックvsレンジャーズの一戦。伝統の“オールドファーム”は日本代表MF旗手怜央の2ゴール1アシストの大活躍で、セルティックが3-0で完勝。首位の座を奪い取った。多くの日本人サポーターが沸いたこの試合だが、スタンドから眺めることを余儀なくされた人物がいた。

それは移籍市場最終日に半年間のレンタル移籍でレンジャーズに加入したウェールズ代表MFアーロン・ラムジー。前所属先のユベントスでは今シーズンの公式戦わずか5試合の出場に留まっており、コンディションの問題もありセルティック戦を欠場した。
イギリス『サン』はこの試合を眺めるラムジーの表情に注目。「セルティックが開始4分でリードを奪うと唖然とした表情を浮かべた」と伝え、「セルティック・パークで繰り広げられる悲惨な光景に、元ガナーズのエースは惨めな表情を浮かべていた」と綴っている。

『フットボール・スコットランド』によれば、ラムジーはオールドファームについて「もちろん参加したかった試合だ」と語っており、スタンドでどうすることもできない状況に悔しさを抑えきれなかったのかもしれない。

飲酒運転で事故…三笘薫や上田綺世らとユニバーシアード代表で対戦したKリーグ選手が契約解除、近年続発中

札幌DF田中駿汰が結婚を発表「こんなに人を好きになったのは初めてです」

レンジャーズがジェラード元副官のマイケル・ビール氏を新指揮官に招へい!
