31日、日本代表はアジアカップ2023のラウンド16でバーレーン代表と対戦する。過去の対戦成績は日本の8勝2敗となっているが、アジアカップの舞台で最後に対戦したのは2004年の中国大会での準決勝。記憶に残る激闘だった。
MF小野伸二、FW高原直泰ら当時の主力選手が欠場していた当時の日本は、開催国の中国サポーターにブーイングを浴びせられながらも決勝トーナメントに進出すると、準々決勝ではPK戦途中でのサイド変更とGK川口能活の神がかり的なセーブが印象深いヨルダン代表戦に勝利し、準決勝でバーレーンと対戦した。

「羨ましすぎる」「これはすげー」小野伸二氏の自宅で麻雀!? Mリーグファンでも知られる小野氏と俳優・小山剛志さん、プロ雀士の姿が話題!自宅にも注目「家が豪華すぎる」

「柏の子供は雄太の背中を見て育つ」名フレーズも生んだ古巣・柏のサポーターを南雄太が語る「特殊なサポーターだけど大好き」
今シーズン限りで現役を引退したGK南雄太が、27日に現役引退会見を行った。 東京ヴェルディの下部組織育ちで、静岡学園高校から柏レイソルでプロ入り。18歳でJリーグデビューを果たすと、その後はロアッソ熊本、横浜FCでプレー。2021年夏に大宮アルディージャへと期限付き移籍し、2022年からは完全移籍に切り替え。今シーズンをもって現役を引退した。 チームはJ3へと降格したが、南は最終節の東京V戦で久々に出場。J1で266試合、J2で400試合に出場し、GKとして歴代最多の666試合出場を果たし、スパイクを脱ぐこととなった。 「ゴールデンエイジ」と呼ばれる世代で、小野伸二(北海道コンサドーレ札幌)や高原直泰(沖縄SV)、遠藤保仁(ジュビロ磐田)らと同世代。U-20日本代表としては、2度のワールドユース(現:U-20ワールドカップ)に出場し、1999年大会は彼らとともに準優勝も経験した。 その南は柏でプロデビュー。12年間にわたってプレーし、加入当初はGK土肥洋一が正守護神としてプレー。そのポジションを奪うと、最後はGK菅野孝憲(現:北海道コンサドーレ札幌)にポジションを奪われ、熊本へと移籍していた。 プロ入りの18歳から30歳まで過ごした柏。南にとっては柏のサポーターの存在は特別であり、サポーターからは「柏の子供は雄太の背中を見て育つ」という名フレーズも作られ、Tシャツまで完成していた。 南はそのフレーズについて「あのフレーズに関しては、今でも言ってくれる人が結構いまして、素直に凄く嬉しいです」とコメント。また、サポーターの存在についても語り、苦いエピソードもありながら、感謝を口にした。 「柏のサポーターには自分を育ててもらったというか、若い時から出て、忘れもしないんですが、18歳の時に自分の調子があまり良くない時に西野さん(西野朗監督)が使い続けてくれて、その前には土肥さんが試合に出ていて、サポーターから“土肥コール”をされたときは物凄く堪えました」 「そういう厳しさもありながら、降格した時は凄く残って欲しいと言ってくださって、実際に残って1年で昇格した時は凄くサポーターと一緒に戦って乗り越えた気持ちもあります」 「12年いたということもありますし、今でもレイソルのサポーターは凄くメッセージくれたり、応援してくれたり、最終戦もレイソルのユニフォームを着て座ってくれた人も何人もいたり、サッカー選手としての基本となる、一番大事となる土台を作ってくれたのは、レイソルでの12年なので、レイソルのサポーターは凄く変わったというか特殊なサポーターで、あれはあれで大好きだったので、凄く誇れるサポーターです」 プロデビュー、リーグカップ優勝、そしてJ2降格、J1昇格と、多くのことを共に経験してきた南と柏のサポーターの絆は、この先の人生でも繋がったままになるだろう。 2023.11.28 07:45 Tue

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「なんて可愛いんでしょ」オナイウ阿道が妻と愛娘と家族ショット、七五三での着物姿に「とってもかわいい」など祝福の声

三笘薫の幼馴染、三浦成美が19年前の貴重ショットを公開!あどけない表情に「みんな可愛い」「すごい素敵な写真!」

アジアカップの開幕が近づく中で、日本代表FW前田大然(セルティック)が自身の状態について言及した。 12日に開幕を迎えるアジアカップ2023。カタールで開催される中で日本代表は調整を続けている。 ケガの影響もあり9月以降の日本代表活動に参加できなかったが、復帰してアジアカップで合流。9日に行われたヨルダン代表とのトレーニングマッチでもゴールを記録していた。 前田は11日のトレーニング後に取材に応じ、ヨルダン戦についてコメント。「個人というかチームとして良い状態だと思います。ここ数回は辞退していたので、なんとか取り戻したいとやっていて、練習試合でしたけどしっかりゴールできて良かったです」と、ゴールを喜んだ。 セルティックでもリーグ戦5試合欠場したもの、12月中旬に復帰。5試合を戦った中、合流直前のセント・ミレン戦では10月以来のゴールを記録した。 「復帰してチームでも2、3試合やりましたし、こっちに来る前にゴールもできていたので、問題ないです」と状態は問題ないと語った前田。11日のトレーニングは途中で離脱したが「コンディションを上げたいという部分もありましたが、明日の練習から全然大丈夫なので問題ないです」と、大きな問題ではないとした。 開幕は12日だが、日本の初戦はベトナム代表と14日に行われる。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のアジア予選でも戦ったベトナム。格下ではあるが、簡単にも勝たせてもらえない相手だ。 前田は「練習前にミーティングしましたけど、ベトナムとは1点差のゲームが多くて、難しい試合になることは間違い無いです」とコメント。「ただ、前と比べるとチームは大きく進化しているので、自分たちのサッカーをすれば良い試合ができていると思います」と、今の日本代表の戦いができれば問題はないと語った。 一方で、トレーニングマッチのヨルダン戦ではカウンターから失点。前田は失点はない方が良いとしながらも、本大会前に確認できたことは良かったとした。 「失点してきていなかった中での失点ですが、試合をやっていればどうしてもしてしまいますし、大会前にチームとして経験できたこと、そういうこともあるということが分かったのはこれから先やっていく上で良かったかなと。失点は無い方がもちろんいいので、減らしていけば良いと思います」 今回の日本代表には、山梨学院大学附属高校の1つ先輩であるDF渡辺剛(ヘント)が招集されている。高校の先輩と代表では初の活動になるが、「一緒にやりたいというのは常にあったので、今回初めてそういう機会が得られたので、母校を盛り上げるように2人で活躍したいです」とコメント。ついに実現したことを喜んだ。 2024.01.11 23:57 Thu
