27日、ドイツはカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループE第2節でスペインと対戦した。
初戦で日本代表に逆転負けを喫し、敗れれば敗退の可能性が高まる試合。スペインは初戦で7ゴールの大勝を収め、勝てばグループステージ突破をほぼ決められる試合となった。
試合は強豪国同士の拮抗した展開となると、なかなかゴールが生まれずに後半へ。すると62分にアルバロ・モラタがネットを揺らしてスペインが先制する。
敗れれば敗退の危機が高まるドイツ。すると83分にニクラス・フュルクルクがネットを揺らして同点に。その後は得点が動かず、1-1の引き分けに終わった。

きっかけはインスタのDM!モラタとモデル妻の馴れ初めが意外

「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。 トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。 1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に

「全くもってプロではなかった」浅野拓磨を見下した?リュディガーのステップをドイツ代表のレジェンドも問題視「相手を軽んじてはいけない」
