その後、シント=トロイデンの原のゴールもあり、試合は3-2でシント=トロイデンの勝利となったが、鈴木は試合後に自身のインスタグラムを更新。今季初ゴールの喜びとファンへの感謝を綴った。

海外挑戦2年目の鈴木は今シーズン、最下位に位置し2部降格が決定しているチームでなかなか結果を出せず、直近のリーグ戦6試合でベンチスタートとなっていたが、20日に行われたジュピラー・プロ・リーグ第32節のシント=トロイデン戦で7試合ぶりの先発出場を果たした。試合はGKシュミット・ダニエル、DF橋岡大樹、FW原大智、FW林大地が先発出場したシント=トロイデンが先制に成功するも24分、スルーパスに抜けた鈴木がボックス手前からシュート。左ポストを叩いてゴールが決まった。鈴木にとっては今季の公式戦25試合目の出場で待望の初ゴールとなった。「やっと取れた 難しいシーズンだけど苦しい時ほどとにかく楽しんでやってこ。変わらずサポートしてくれてる方々に感謝です」

「上手くね?」「箸使えるのすごい」G大阪の助っ人FWジェバリ、巧みな箸使いで寿司を食べる姿にファン驚愕&期待「もう日本人やん!」

ディルク・カイトがベルギー2部ベールスホットの新監督に就任!
