大勝を収めたアルゼンチン代表は、宿敵に対して容赦ない振る舞いを見せたようだ。『TYCスポーツ』が伝えている。アルゼンチンは現地時間25日に行われた2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選第14節で、ブラジル代表と対戦。すでにW杯出場を決めている状況での一戦だったが、立ち上がりからフリアン・アルバレス、エンソ・フェルナンデスにゴールが生まれて優位に立つと、1点を返されながらアレクシス・マク・アリスターのゴールで再度突き放しハーフタイムへ。後半もジュリアーノ・シメオネの得点でリードを広げる盤石さを見せつけ、4-1の勝利を収めた。

試合終了直前には、ボールを受けたエミリアーノ・マルティネスがリフティングを開始するなど終始余裕を見せつけたアルゼンチン。成す術もなく敗れたブラジルにとっては、屈辱的な試合となった。
しかし、アルゼンチン側の煽りはこれに留まらず。試合後、選手たちはホームに集ったファンと「死んだブラジルのため…1分間の黙祷を!」と歌い、実際に沈黙を促す場面もあった。

こうした煽りの理由には試合前、ブラジル代表FWハフィーニャによる「僕たちはアルゼンチンに勝つつもりだ。彼らを打ちのめそう。ピッチ内だけでなく、必要ならピッチ外でも」といった発言も影響した模様。煽り煽られが当たり前な、南米サッカーらしい一幕となった。

「僕世代のアイドル」アルバレスがメッシへの忠誠心語る「W杯優勝を手伝えて、この上ない誇り」

連覇が懸かるメッシの2026年W杯出場は? 元同僚でもあるマスチェラーノ監督が言及「アルゼンチン人としてはプレーして欲しい」

「決勝戦が汚されてしまった」主催した南米サッカー連盟も怒りの声明…大混乱のコパ・アメリカ決勝でのファンの行動と警備体制を批判

ブラジル代表が最後の最後に逆転劇 アルゼンチン代表はメッシ復帰もドロー【2026年W杯南米予選】
