アストン・ビラがドルトムントのオランダ代表FWドニエル・マレン(25)獲得へ公式オファーを掲示しているようだ。
アヤックスのアカデミー育ちで、PSV時代にブレイクを果たしたマレンは2021年からドルトムントでプレー。ドイツ屈指の名門では右ウイングを主戦場に、ここまで131試合39ゴール20アシストを記録。今シーズンここまではブンデスリーガ13試合3ゴール、チャンピオンズリーグで5試合2ゴール1アシストの数字を残している。
左ウイングにセンターフォワードでもプレー可能なユーティリティー性はチームで重宝されているが、シーズンを通してのパフォーマンスの波が大きく攻撃のメインキャストには至らず。そのため、チームの起用法に不満を示す同選手は昨年辺りから退団の可能性がたびたび取り沙汰されている状況だ。
そんななか、『The Athletic』の著名記者であるデイビッド・オーンスタイン氏は、そのマレンに対して、汎用性の高いアタッカーの獲得を目指しているプレミアの強豪が獲得オファーを掲示したと報じている。
移籍金の金額は1800万ユーロ(約29億1000万円)程度と、昨年の時点で3000万ユーロ(約48億5000万円)程度を売却の設定額としていたドルトムントにとっては物足りない数字だが、ジュリアン・デュランヴィル、ジェイミー・バイノー=ギテンスと若手の台頭が著しい状況で不満分子となる可能性もあるアタッカーを売却できれば、手薄な守備陣の補強に動くことも可能。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
