先日のニューカッスル戦で一発退場となったアストン・ビラのコロンビア代表FWジョン・デュランに追加処分が科されることになった。
デュランは26日に行われたプレミアリーグ第18節のニューカッスル戦に先発出場。32分にスライディングタックルでボールをクリアにかかったニューカッスルDFファビアン・シェアの背中を踏みつける形になり、一発レッドカードを提示されていた。
見方によってはバランスを崩してやむを得ず足が背中に入ったとも考えられたが、微妙な判定ながらもオンフィールド・レビュー(OFR)は行われず、そのまま退場となっていた。
その後、クラブは当然のことながら異議申し立てを行ったが、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は27日にこれを却下。コロンビア代表FWの3試合出場停止が確定した。
そんななか、デュランにはこの退場に関連する形で追加処分が科されることに。
FAは当該行為を「不適切な振る舞い」と判断し、前述の一発退場とは別に処分を科す決定を下した。

今回の処分が確定した場合、デュランはプレミアリーグのレスター・シティ戦、FAカップのウェストハム戦に加え、以降の数試合も欠場となる見込み。ここまでリーグ戦18試合7ゴールのストライカーの離脱はアストン・ビラにとって大きな痛手だ。

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ

バレンシアがバレネチェアを獲得…今夏ユーベからアストン・ビラに完全移籍
バレンシアは30日、アストン・ビラからアルゼンチン人MFエンソ・バレネチェア(23)を1年間のレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。 母国のニューウェルズ・オールドボーイズの下部組織出身のバレネチェアは、2019年に加入したスイスのシオンでヨーロッパでのキャリアをスタート。その後、2020年1月にユベントスNext Gen(U-23チーム)に加入。セリエCに所属するクラブで主力を担うと、2022年11月に行われたパリ・サンジェルマン戦でユベントスでのファーストチームデビューを飾った。 ダイナミックなセントラルMFは昨シーズンにレンタル先のフロジノーネでセリエA36試合に出場し、今シーズンはユベントスのファーストチームでの活躍も期待されたが、ブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイスの獲得オペレーションに際してU-21イングランド代表MFサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(20)と共にアストン・ビラへ完全移籍していた。 そして、今シーズンはバレンシアの地で研鑽を積むことになった。 2024.08.30 23:31 Fri
